What SpaceX just did in Florida Shocked Cali's Gov...
As California gradually shuts down SpaceX’s ambitious launch plans, where can they find a promised land for their space missions?
Of course, there’s no place more ideal than the coast of Florida!
That’s right — SpaceX has just set new records here that left the California authorities speechless… and full of regret!
So, what exactly SpaceX just did in Florida?
Let’s find out on today’s episode of Alpha Tech.
As of May 2025, SpaceX has achieved an extraordinary milestone: 486 Falcon 9 launches, with 483 full mission successes, three failures, and one partial failure.
While there have been a few setbacks, the overall reliability of Falcon 9 launches remains exceptionally high reaching 99.3%, the highest among all currently operational rockets.

Even more impressive is the reusability of the Falcon 9’s first stage, which stands as a world-shaking achievement. Ask yourself how many rockets out there can not only reuse their first stages but do so 28 times. Yes, that’s a record SpaceX just broke, with one Falcon 9 booster having been reused for the 28th time and it may very well be used again for a 29th time in one of next month’s missions.
These accomplishments have marked a significant shift in how the world approaches space travel. In an industry once defined by slow, infrequent missions where even a handful of launches per year were considered ambitious SpaceX has shattered every previous expectation.

With Falcon 9 launching at a pace once deemed impossible, SpaceX has not only set new records but redefined the standard for orbital launch cadence.
So far, SpaceX has maintained a Falcon 9 launch frequency of approximately once every 3.5 days from its East Coast facilities at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station and Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and roughly once every 7.3 days from its West Coast site at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
In total, SpaceX has completed 51 Falcon 9 launches in 2025 so far, with an adjusted goal of 170 Falcon launches for the year averaging about 14 launches per month.
This relentless pace has transformed access to space from a costly, elite effort into a scalable, high-frequency operation.
