Couple heartbroken after they say 2 children, woman stole their cat

All right, now to the search for a beloved cat that was stolen from a neighborhood in South Philadelphia. Artemis was last seen Saturday night. Ring doorbell camera captured the moment two teenage boys picked him up and then took off with him. Actions reporter Becca Hendrickson has the story. The owners say Arty is really like the neighborhood pet. He spends most of his time outside on this small South Philadelphia block. They never expected anyone, let alone two kids, to come onto their block, catnap him, and drive away. Got another one. A proclamation from two kids who appear to steal a beloved pet named Artemis, or Arty. He loves being just in and out. He always knows where home is. He never leaves our block. Andrew Moik and his wife Dominique adopted Arty 2 years ago after he kept popping up at their house. He's a big part of our family. Surveillance video from Saturday night shows the juveniles come onto the 1500 block of South Hick Street in South Philadelphia around 8:15. They pet Art and heard him down the block. Minutes later, they grabbed him. Dominique quickly realized something was wrong. I checked on the Air Tag on my phone and noticed that the location said City Hall. She checked their Ring video and saw the catnapping. Andrew followed the Air Tag and says he confronted a woman driving the two kids. She didn't want to hear anything I had to say. I said, "Um, you have my cat." Uh, she said, "We're fine. Thank you." He says they removed Arty's collar and air tag, dropping it in Hunting Park. He's since been on a mission to find his cat, filing a police report. Did you see all the videos? But the neighborhood is invested in the investigation, too. He's human. Everybody loved him. You know, he's uh actually a part of the family. Some doing their own detective work. Maybe we can look at the locations, go around the streets and stuff. Others, please accept this donation towards the reward money. have helped raise more than $1,000 for a reward for Arty's return. It's been a roller coaster. I'll say that. We're not giving up. Um, we are going up there every day. We're getting more and more leads and we're going to continue to keep trying. They're not giving up and they're looking for more help, too.
