State Rep. Mike Coffey Embraces Chatham Community

Tragedy unfolded in the community of Chatham yesterday afternoon with four innocent lives being taken from us. Around 3:30 p.m. a vehicle drove off the road, through a field, and crashed into YNOT Outdoors Summer and After School Camp and striking numerous individuals. This tragic accident resulted in four young girls losing their lives: two 7-year-olds, an 8-year-old, and an 18-year-old. Several other children were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The children we mourn today were more than students, they were examples of shining lights in the Chatham community with big dreams.
