A beautiful mahogany gilt brass bracket clock with repeater chime cord. Please see video for striking. Antique circa 1830 from Richard Webster, 26 Change Alley, London, 1784 - 1840, Livery Clockmakers Company, 1810. "see Old Clocks & Watches. F.S. Brittan". An 8 day duration double fusee movement with anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell and repeating the hour with a pull repeat cord. The dial features Roman numerals and steel hands. The mahogany case stands on brass bun feet with brass sound frets and carrying handles to the sides and brass bordered blind frets around dial. Enclosed under a convex glass in a cast brass bezel, the chamfer top surmounted by a brass pineapple finial.
Dimensions: 20 inches tall including finial, 11.5 inches wide, 7.25 inches deep.
