A German antique mantel clock by "Aktiengesellschaft für Uhrenfabrikation Lenzkirch" or Lenzkirch, the village they derived their name from in circa 1875. The mantel clock is encased in a beautiful walnut finish with gilt brass side grills and decorative details, showing traditional craftmanship of the German Black Forest clockmakers. The movement furthermore complements its case running for 8 days and striking on the quarter hours. The silvered chaptered dial is surround by decorative gilt brass details and a silvered secondary speed correction dial. The movement is marked Lenzkirch A.G.U. 1 Million, numbered 56 and 314858. With original pendulum marked 56 and 39. Included keys for the front and back door key and winding key. In full working order, please see video for running operation.
