Sewing a Corset Cover With Embroidery
I really wanted to make another corset cover—this time without rushing, using a properly drafted Edwardian pattern. These garments were often beautifully detailed, even though they were rarely seen!
Digitizing broderie anglaise for the embroidery machine was a fun challenge, though cutting it out required sharper scissors (and some patience).
The pattern came from The Edwardian Modiste by Frances Grimble, a book I picked up secondhand from a library sale. The Lavolta Press edition seems pricey these days—hopefully that will change!
