With the experience I have, I've found deep frying camping food is more fun and surprisingly more convenient than I would have imagined. Once you have the oil hot it's real easy and fast to do several items one after the other. Best of all, When you're done with dinner, simply put the lid on the pot and set it aside. It's completely ready to cook your breakfast. Normally, I would have a pot or a pan to wash before I could go to bed. When you're done with the oil, simply pour it back into the container you brought it in and take it home.
