LEARN HOW TO FLOAT IN WATER IN 5 STEPS - FEEL SAFE ON THE DEEP END OF THE POOL

We are going to learn how to float in water as I'm doing in the video right now.
Everyone will float in water as long as they have filled their lungs with air.
But as you see now, I blew out the air from my lungs and I am sinking to the
bottom of the pool. So in today's video,
we are going to learn how to float in water in five simple steps.
Step number one, go over to the shallow end of the pool,
take a deep breath and then tilt your head back and lift your feet off the
ground.
You will now see that you're actually floating in the water without doing
anything. If you breathe out all the air in your lungs,
you will sink to the bottom. Step two,
staying afloat while breathing. To keep floating while we are breathing,
we need to kick our feet and use our arms. This is wrong.
This is like walking up the stairs.
This is also wrong. This is like panicking.
This is the correct way to use your arms.
And this is the correct way to use your feet.
If you do your arms and feet correctly together,
then you will be able to stay afloat in water with ease.
Practice this on the shallow end of the pool before you go to step three,
which is practicing on the deep end. Step number three,
getting comfortable in the deep end of the pool. Now go over to the ladder,
hold on to the ladder,
take a deep breath and then feel that you're floating in the water.
You can now let go of the ladder and try to breathe in and out and kick your
feet and just being in that area and see how it
affects your body. When you feel reasonably comfortable doing this,
you can also try to breathe out some of the air and just hold on to the ladder
and feel that you're sinking under and then just kick your feet and get up to
the surface again.
Make sure you are close enough to the ladder that you can reach it.
If you feel like you're going to panic,
do this for a little while and get used to the notion of being in the deep end
of the pool. Step number four,
we will now go out on the deep end without being close to the edge.
Grab a hold of one of these floating devices you find in the pool.
If you don't have that available, use a one and a half liter bottle,
which you fill with air and put the cork on.
Just lay in the water and relax on your floating device.
Now you kick your feet and whenever you feel like it,
you can let go of the floating device. Just make sure you have it close by.
Kick your feet and now you're actually floating in the water without assistance
of anything.
As soon as you feel tired or you feel like you are maybe panicking a little bit,
take a hold of the floating device and then you can go into the shore again.
You now know all you need to know on how to float on water.
All you have to do is to practice this as much as possible until you are
comfortable.
Step number five is jumping into the water and then just feel your
body floating up to the surface without any assistance.
You can try and do this at the more shallow end of the pool.
Swim down to the bottom and then just let your body float up again.
As you feel more and more comfortable,
you can go on to the deeper and deeper end of the pool.
And finally you can go to the deepest end of the pool,
swim down to the bottom or even jump off the edge and then just
feel your body float to the top again.
That is all you need to know about floating in water. Enjoy.
