Urban Exploring: Creepy Abandoned Disney Daycare & Nursery

This building was built in 1920 originally used as a nurses residence for a nearby hospital.

Property ownership documents dat as far back as 1798.

Once a vast piece of farmland the land was donated in the early 1900's for a large medical facility.

When no longer needed for housing nurses it was it was used as an alternative high school through the 70's and 80's. Following this, it was re-purposed for use as a daycare and nursery school.

The building has been designated with heritage protection, so while it now sits empty, vacant and decaying there is some solace in knowing the building will hopefully one day be used again.
