These are the autumn and early winter attacks on my young late bred inexperienced pigeons and a few mature survivors of the previous winters. It is easy to see the flock struggles. This has been probably the hardest season so far. I might quit winter flying although my favorite part of the hobby is releasing the pigeons. It is getting ridiculous with pigeons escaping the falcons high in the sky, then having to escape 1-2 hawks mid level and then when almost entering the loft another hawk trying to get them under my nose.
