Frederick Stead (1863-1940) * English painter * Canzona - Secret Garden

Frederick Stead was born in Saltaire on the 3rd August 1863 and lived for the latter part of his life at Ghyllwood Drive, Bingley. He painted a wide range of subjects, including portraits, landscapes, urban, still life and genre scenes. He was particularly well-regarded for his portrait work.
