Should Illegal Immigrants Get Welfare? Compton vs. West Hollywood | Man on the Street

what's up guys Alo here with Prager youu a new study found that three in five illegal immigrants was on taxpayer funded welfare so today I'm in Compton California to ask people what they think about this and then I'm heading over to West Hollywood and asking the same question let's do it so a new study came out and showed that three and five illegal immigrants was on taxpayer funded welfare what do you think about that um to be honest I really feel they it shouldn't be like that because it's already hard enough for us you know not in no shade but should illegal immigrants receive welfare I think is is crashing the country right now just by them doing that it seem like if you hear illegal you're cutting down on something somebody else should be getting should illegal immigrants receive taxpayer funded welfare yes yes uh I think so they're here and they're contributing so they should have the same access to the same programs that we do definitely yeah why I just think that everybody should be treated equally at the end of the day we're we're all humans I I don't like calling people illegal immigrants I'll just call them melons no I wouldn't describe him as that the state of California has been paying health insurance for illegal immigrants since 2019 this program in this insurance will cover things like sex change operations and will cost over $3 billion a year do you think this is a good use of our tax dollars not really when they illegally come and they taking away from people that's here legally that's working and contributing I don't think that's right why is that it's not right I don't hardly get in insurance and I work every day I've been working since I was 12 years old and I don't hardly get no insurance but should the Mexican taxpayer pay for my health insurance if I went over there tomorrow I think under the right circumstances we go to Mexico we're not getting free healthcare are we we not even going to make it back no matter of fact we can't go nowhere we can't go anywhere and get anything the common ground is not to keep giving and and giving and giving that that is about just called working reward so if you want to give if they need something they should work for it it's unfair to people who actually actually pay taxes I think it's very easy for all of us to suggest that they broke the law to come here and they're they're somehow criminals they are they're felons okay you know what I'm sorry I think I now I get your direction so I'm done but thank you okay all right is you didn't want to answer the questions no I'm good thank you all right not not everyone wants to answer the hard questions but uh that's what we're doing here the United States Department of Housing and Development uh did a stud and they showed that homelessness could be solved for $20 billion oh so we're spending 150 billion on the cost of all immigrants is that a good use of our tax dollars um no because I feel like it's a lot of people on the street $20 million or billion dollars could get everybody off the street they should do that first it's so much homeless people kids need food clothes and everything we have uh infrastructure issues the roads aren't fixed you know there's plenty of other um areas where the money could be going that money should be going to uh more resource is for the taxpaying citizen not people just coming over the border with no screening or anything like that I don't think any of us know where our taxes are going I think that's a really bad issue that we have going on if they are coming to go through the right process and um become legal and do it the correct way and and maybe our government can help them go through that process and I have no problem with someone who's here legally who's gone through the system and gone through all the right steps but at some point you know the US is a nightclub and we're at capacity well guys that's it for this video really interesting topic today I was really interested to see how different the answers could be so close and in two different cities here in LA but still had a little bit of Common Ground here at the end if you guys enjoyed this video make sure to give it a thumbs up and share it with your friends I want to know what you guys think about this down in the comments below as always make sure to follow me and Prager you across all social medias and I'll see you guys in the next one no I don't know if we're ready for this don't answer why it's a good topic all right I didn't want to answer the questions either tough time here in most Hollywood but we rage on hey guys thanks for watching this video prageru is a 501c3 organization help us keep our videos free by making a tax deductible donation today I appreciate your support
