The Smriti Van Earthquake Memorial and Museum in Bhuj has become a powerful symbol of resilience and rebirth. Translated as "Forest of Memories, it commemorates the story of the infamous 2001 Bhuj earthquake. Designed by Vastu Shilpa Consultants, this museum is more than just a place to display artifacts. It has become a public veranda where the community can gather and celebrate events and festivals. Apart from the reservoirs and museum, Smriti Van also has a breathtaking sun point at the top of the hill, which tracks the sun and moon in the form of a lunar-solar calendar.
