ever notice how everyone talks about
high-paying remote jobs but they always
skip over data entry positions well
here's what most people don't realize
data entry has evolved Way Beyond the
basic $10 per hour jobs that you see
advertised everywhere I'm talking about
specialized positions that can pay $20
an hour or even more and the best part
is many of these roles are actively
hiring right now what's up everyone I'm
Shane and today I'm going to be sharing
11 data entry positions that most people
don't even know about and I'll show you
exactly what these jobs actually involve
how much they really pay with verified
salary data and most importantly how to
actually land these positions and I'm
not talking about basic data entry jobs
I've discovered some specialized
positions that most people don't even
know exist and you don't need Decades of
experience or fancy degrees to get
started what you do need though is
attention to detail and basic computer
skills and the willingness to learn now
before we dive into these opportunities
if you're excited about finding
well-paying data entry work that's
stable but also probably boring take a
second to hit that like button it helps
more people discover these legitimate
work from home jobs and I also really
appreciate it now let's start with our
first role and that's going to be a tax
preparer now most people think this is
just a seasonal job or that you need to
be a CPA but that's not actually true
companies need help from tax preparers
year round and many will train the right
person from scratch and your job is
processing tax documents entering data
into tax software and helping organize
financial information and it's perfect
if you're detail oriented and good with
numbers now let's talk about the money
because this is where it gets
interesting according to recent data
remote tax preparers are making between
$44 and $77,000 a year and this is a tax
preparer that I found on YouTube
according to this person a tax preparer
helps clients minimize their tax burden
while complying with regulations and
they use specialized software to prepare
and file returns and sometimes represent
clients in audits or disputes but when
you first start as a tax preparer you
can absolutely do more of the data entry
side of things where you're inputting
financial information into tax software
now let's go over a quick guide to
Landing the job here's exactly what you
need to do to get started first get
certified through the irs's vaita
program it's absolutely free then take
online bookkeeping courses there's a lot
of really good online courses out there
corer is one that I always recommend and
they do have some courses on bookkeeping
and then learn tax preparation software
be familiar with the common ones and
also the basics of how to use them and
then start with volunteer work to build
some experience now the place you'd go
to find this is a quick search on Google
jobs and you'll actually find countless
numbers of companies that have
opportunities for this job especially in
certain times of the year so yeah really
good opportunity here I'm going to give
it an8 out of 10 opportunity score I
think there's high demand solid pay and
you can work year round plus the skills
are always valuable and it can lead to
higher paying jobs down the line now by
the way Landing these remote jobs takes
a systematic approach and that's why
I've created the 30day remote job
Landing Challenge and just like
organizing tax documents this guide
breaks down your job search into daily
actionable steps so grab it below to
start your journey it's completely free
and you can use this in tandem with
watching my videos to land your very
first remote job job or land a better
remote job now let's look at another
great opportunity in the financial
sector and that is loan officer now
here's another position that's perfect
for detail oriented people who want to
work from home as a remote loan officer
you'll be reviewing applications
verifying information and helping
process loans and it's a perfect blend
of data entry and analytical work now
the earning potential here is really
good about 91 to
$169,000 a year however there are more
entry-level positions that are more data
entry driven and of course they would
pay less and this is a post from a loan
officer who earns a whole lot of money
according to him a loan officer spends
most of their day responding to emails
managing their loan pipeline
communicating with clients and referral
partners and generating new business
through networking and relationship
building so of course if you're a
highlevel loan officer there's a whole
lot of networking involved in things
however at the end of the day a lot of
what you're doing is literally just data
entry and if you're an assistant to a
loan officer that's likely what you'll
be spending a lot of your time doing now
the best place to find these types of
jobs is through indeed and overall this
one's really good obviously it's a bit
harder to get into than some of the
other ones on the list but I'm going to
give it a 9 out of 10 because there's
strong demand excellent pay and great
career growth potential after all real
estate is likely the biggest industry in
the world quick break are you wasting 2
hours daily in traffic going to a job
that underpays you remote job

scan the QR code right here if you're
watching on TV next is a legal assistant

entry with the legal field and that
creates an interesting and rewarding
career path now remote legal assistants

organization and data entry for law
firms and it's perfect for detail
oriented people who can maintain
confidentiality and also stay organized
now the earning potential here is
usually about $41 to $60,000 a year and
what's really cool about this position
is it lets you generate some legal
experience so if you want to be a lawyer
later on or you want to work in the
legal industry in general this can be an
amazing place to start check out this
post I found on Reddit an inexperienced
Legal Assistant who is feeling
overwhelmed received practical advice
from a veteran about taking detailed
notes finding mentors and studying past
documents and indeed seems to be a
really good place to find this role as
well I'm going to go ahead and give it
an 8.5 out of 10 next is going to be a

doing a whole lot of data entry and this

who love organizing information and
maintaining accuracy and as a

important documents update procedures
and ensure everything is properly
organized and easily accessible and the
earning potential is $47 to $74,000 a
year now if you're curious to know what
these professionals actually do on a
day-to-day basis check out this video
from a documentation specialist named
candy she reviews clinical documentation
for accuracy audits provider coding
sends queries to Physicians to fix
documentation errors and works with the
Epic team to ensure templates meet
documentation guidelines epic is a
software that hospitals use in order to
keep patient records now a quick guide
to Landing the job is first of all learn
document management system systems
Master Microsoft Office Suite develop
technical writing skills and if you can
try to get certified in documentation
management and there's a really a lot of
jobs all around here um I definitely try
indeed and also Google jobs I'm going to
give this one an 8 out of 10 now let's
move on to our next remote position
which is a data entry technician and
this one is pretty obvious in fact I'm
not going to spend too much time on it
but remote data entry technicians
typically earn between 38 to $53,000 a
year and there can be some specific
niches that make more for instance
Simone is a data entry technician and
she spends her day verifying documents
and inputting data into online systems
while meeting hourly quotas typically
working 9 to 11 hour shifts from home
and a quick guide to Landing the job is
improve your typing speed try to get to
60 words per minute learn data entry
software Master Excel and Google Sheets
and develop attention to detail and
these jobs are pretty much everywhere I
think Flex jobs and indeed and Google
jobs has a lot of opportunities so I'm
going to give this one a 7 out of 10
opportunity score just because I think
it's kind of an obvious one and I think
everyone kind of already knows about it
next is more of a medical related data
entry job which is coding specialist and
don't let the name intimidate you this
isn't about programming or anything like
that this role focuses on medical coding
and data entry and as a coding
specialist you'll be converting medical
diagnosis and procedures into
standardized codes for billing and
recordkeeping and it's perfect for
detail oriented people who enjoy
learning medical terminology and the
earning potential here is actually
pretty good $55 to $85,000 a year so
this one pays a little bit better it is
a little bit harder to a job but a lot
of the time even though it does require
some training and certification the
hospitals or the clinics that you work
at will actually provide the training
for you which is pretty awesome and
there's this post I found on Reddit from
an aspiring medical coder and they
discovered that while certification is
important many employers actively seek
and experience candidates to trained in
specialized coding systems though they
should be prepared for ongoing costs
like certification maintenance and
yearly software subscriptions so
basically exactly what I've been
reporting so a Quick Start Plan here is
complete a medical coding certification
although in many cases like I said
hospitals will actually train you there
learn medical terminology Master coding
software and practice with real world
scenarios and there are a bunch of posts
for this one on indeed so definitely
check that out I'm going to give this
one a 9 out of 10 I think this is
actually really good now if you're
interested in taking your data related
skills to the next level check out

certificates you can get online and it

generalist handling various tasks for
multiple teams though they were looking
to specialize further as they advanced
in their career which they were able to
do now a quick guide to Landing the job

and they shared that after completing 2
months of training with a mentor they
fell in love with a position especially
highlighting the incredible workplace
flexibility and supportive management
and they even mentioned having to pinch
themselves to make sure the great work
environment was real and overall people

of 10 I personally worked with grants
before when I worked at a 501c3 and of

little more complicated but everyone
needs an assistant next is a digital

that combines data entry with digital
organizational skills and creativity and
as a digital content assistant you'll be
organizing and managing online content
scheduling social media posts and
maintaining content calendars and it's
perfect for detail oriented people who
enjoy both organization and creative
work now the compensation is really
solid in this position you make about 41
to $66,000 a year and here's an article
I found about a day in the life of a

a position like this on a deed with

combines data entry with inventory
management skills so in this position
you'll be organizing and updating
product information maintaining digital
cataloges and ensuring data accuracy and
it's perfect for detail oriented people
who enjoy systematic work and the pay is
pretty competitive remote catalogers
typically earn between 46 and $80,000 a
year so this was from someone who did
cataloging during the Schmid pandemic
according to this person they worked on
ebooks and Excel files that's it so it's
relatively simple data entry however
here's some things you can do to ensure
that you can land a job first of all
