Hey guys in this video I'm going to show you some new work from home data entry jobs that
you can get right now that aren't just the same old sites that are always hiring.
Also many of these can be gotten without experience at all.
So the first company we're looking at is called First Source Advantage and this is a company
that is hiring for a typical data entry job posted just about a week ago, remote, US based.
This is also an entry level position which usually means you don't need a whole lot to
apply in terms of qualifications.
So this is a job where basically you will be responsible for the introduction of data
into the system which is then provided to the client for use in the internal adjudication
system.
So the types of qualifications that they are looking for, you need to be able to perform
each essential duty satisfactorily, the requirements listed below are representation of the knowledge
skill and or ability required.
So with this you need to be able to enter data from scanned and or processed images
into the data capture system, meet expected hourly production volume goals, maintain quality
levels above minimum set by management, and increase speed and difficulty of tasks as
expected with training and practice, which is worded a little oddly.
But additional responsibilities, maintain awareness of and actively participate in the
corporate compliance program, maintain a neat and orderly workstation, assist with other
projects as assigned, must be prompt and dependable, must be comfortable working in
a production environment, proficient typing skills are required, it's actually not nearly
as bad as a lot of data entry related jobs, 35 words per minute, 98% accuracy.
You can actually test that for free at typingtest.com, they will tell you your word per minute typing
speed and accuracy.
You can also take typing lessons for free here.
They also want you to possess excellent organizational skills and reliability of task completion.
So qualifications, basically they just say education and previous experience, high school
diploma, data entry skills, computer knowledge, math skills.
They don't really require a certain amount of experience, they don't require higher education
or anything like that it seems.
So as far as what it's like to work here, they do have quite a bit of feedback, 3.3 out
of 5 stars overall.
You have a 2.7 out of 5 star rating for benefits, so I wouldn't expect too much from their benefits
here.
They do have a fairly easy difficulty score, 1.9 out of 5 and then 78% positive, not a
single negative review yet for their interview process.
As far as how much you can make doing data entry, it's typically somewhere between $35,000
and $51,000 a year.
Next we have a site called Crew Bloom.
Crew Bloom is a place where actually people go for staffing services, so they actually
have a lot of remote jobs hiring all the time.
And one that is data entry related is the medical scribe position.
So they want you to be detail oriented and basically be able to help the healthcare team.
They want you to accurately document patient encounters in real time, assist healthcare
providers by managing electronic health records and ensure the highest quality of patient
care.
So with this one, job responsibilities include document patient encounters, you'll accurately
and efficiently transcribe medical histories, physical examinations, diagnosis, procedures
and treatment plans, manage electronic health records, you'll update and maintain these
records in the system, you'll have some real time data entry, you'll enter patient information
into the system in real time, coordinate with the medical team, you'll also assist with
chart reviews, maintain confidentiality of course and be in compliance with HIPAA regulations
and administrative support as needed.
So requirements here, previous experience as a medical scribe or a healthcare setting
is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems is a plus.
Typing and transcription skills obviously, strong attention to detail and accuracy, proficient
with EHR systems and general computer literacy, which basically just means you're decent with
computers.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, manage
your time, certifications are not required but would be an advantage and HIPAA certification
is also preferred but again, not necessarily required.
System requirements, they only require 15 Mbps for your main internet speed, 10 Mbps
as a backup, a desktop or laptop with an i5 processor, 8 gigabytes of RAM, i3 processor
for backup, so not too crazy there either.
Backups should still be able to function when there is a power interruption.
Webcam, noise cancellation, USB headset and a quiet home office while also having a smartphone.
So with this, benefits don't mention a lot in terms of like insurance or 401k or those
types of things.
It's more just like flexibility, being able to work from home, those types of benefits.
So as far as what it's like to work here, they have a 4.7 out of 5 star rating, so very
good reviews so far here.
Benefit wise, they do have a 3 out of 5 star rating if you are able to even get benefits.
Interview wise, they have a 2.8 out of 5 difficulty score which is not bad and the interview experience
is very good.
The vast majority of people had a positive experience.
In terms of salaries, they don't seem to have anything that says data entry on here specifically
but again, as I showed you, an average one makes like up to $51,000 a year or as low
as something like maybe $35,000.
Now we also have a company called Scribex.
Scribex has kind of similar solutions as well.
They are a medical scribe solutions company.
Medical scribe positions are a form of data entry basically where you are working mostly
with healthcare providers but it's different job title but essentially the same type of
thing.
You're just entering client data into a database.
So with Scribex, I did a lot of research.
I read through their application pages and I did confirm that these are remote jobs where
you do get to work from home.
Now they actually have a lot of these available so as far as if you're looking for a company
that has a lot of openings instead of just one or two, they have probably the most openings
of anything on this list right now.
So right now they have a bunch of full-time medical scribe positions that let you work
remotely.
As you can see, you usually apply by the state or they have some that just say remote and
then they have some where you need to be bilingual or something like that.
Now for these particular jobs, basically the mission here is for medical scribe programs
to reduce documentation burdens for healthcare providers enabling them to care for patients
more effectively while enjoying an improved work-life balance.
So it's basically having to do this data entry stuff on behalf of a physician so that they
don't have to do that so they have an easier job.
They can focus more on their main job which is diagnosing and maybe providing some things
like prescriptions.
And then for this job, your essential duties will be to perform chart preparation, accompany
the provider and all scheduled patient visits.
Now it says accompany provider so it sounds like you're going to be there in person but
you're not.
Like if you read through this, if you actually read through these pages, first off, you go
by location alone.
It says remote.
You don't have to be anywhere specifically in person.
And then we'll get to a few other signs that this is in fact a work-from-home position.
But also you will document the patient history, physical exam, procedures, patient plan and
more.
Remind provider of relevant quality metrics when appropriate, documenting to support quality
metrics, interlaboratory radiographic studies, intermedication orders and these are all as
dictated by the provider.
Document and print instructions, review completed charts and update provider preference and
clinic preference documents as necessary.
They do want you to have 60 plus word per minute typing speed, available to work 30
to 40 hours per week, must have a HIPAA compliant workspace to maintain the privacy of sensitive
patient information, fluent in the English language with excellent writing and speaking
skills.
Now they do mention this one, they would like bachelor's degree or one to two years equivalent
experience in a related field required.
So you could have one or the other.
Some of these from the same company don't say anything about you having to have experience.
So these vary depending on which specific one you apply for.
But pre-health career track is strongly preferred, GPA 3.5 preferred, highly knowledgeable with
medical terminology, human anatomy.
Competitive pay is 11 to 17 per hour.
So here's another example of how it could easily be an indicator that you are working
from home in fact.
Again, they do tell you it's a remote based location job.
They also say you get paid based on location experience and time commitment.
So they tell you based on location, if this was a one location job, they wouldn't say
that.
A paid training up to 30 and a half hours, 401k program eligible after 12 months, pay
time off, remote opportunity, again, they say remote opportunity, employee wellness
program up to $150 a month reimbursement for a healthcare plan.
So unlock your rewards today, you gain patient contact hours, you can also get letters of
recommendation and test prep, test reimbursement, guaranteed professional school interviews.
So they actually help benefit you in your career goals as well if you want to stay in
healthcare.
So they also say workstation provided, which is basically just different tools that they
will give you, must have a wired internet connection to maintain a synchronous connection.
So they tell you right here, you must have a wired internet connection.
If you were working in an office, they would not say that you have to have a wired internet
connection because they would be providing the wired internet connection.
So again, some of the wording in this makes it seem like, oh, I have to be somewhere in
person.
Why is this in this video?
But if you look through here, you'll notice, okay, yes, this is a typical remote job where
you are not having to be somewhere in person.
So I have seen other scribe companies, they will mention if they will either have a video
or audio, or you might do something like a Zoom call where you're kind of listening in
on the client visit and maybe you are talking to the client before the actual physician
comes in.
So it sounds like it's kind of just modernizing this whole process where instead of having
somebody in there in the room doing the data entry, you might just have maybe some sort
of screen share or a video call or maybe just somebody listening in the background while
the physician is talking to the patient.
So with these 3.1 out of 5 stars, as far as what it's like to work here, if you get benefits
here, they have a 1.5 out of 5 rating.
So obviously not the greatest benefits here, but many scribe positions are just very easy
jobs that usually don't have a lot of perks.
A 2 out of 5 difficulty score though is very easy, 90% positive is also very good as well.
Now last but not least, we have something called Ion Group.
Ion Group is a place that is also hiring for a data entry specialist.
Now this says Chicago, you do not have to be in Chicago, don't worry about that.
I think that's just where their main headquarters is located.
But if you look right here, as far as location goes, this position will be remote.
So candidates can be located anywhere in the United States.
So again, don't be scared away when they say something like a location that's a specific
city.
With this, they're looking for people to work certain hours, so you can just kind of translate
those hours to whatever time zone you live in, as long as it's US based.
A rate is $20 an hour, you are a W2 employee, and you will be working about 40 hours per
week and it would be about a nine month engagement.
Again, this is a contractor, so this may not be a super long term type of job, but your
responsibilities include access fund related documents from various sources like emails
and online portals, accurately match received documents to the corresponding investor vehicles
or portfolios, follow client specific instructions to ensure proper handling and processing of
emails and documents, conduct thorough verification processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity,
communicate effectively with fund managers, colleagues, and external parties as needed,
and meet targets for email and document throughput as established by your manager or supervisor.
So required skills and experience as well as qualifications here.
Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, excellent organizational skills,
attention to detail and data entry, proficient in Microsoft Office, which almost all of them
want, ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment, and demonstrate
capacity to work in a fast paced professional role.
Desired experience and qualifications, associate's degree or bachelor of arts or bachelor of
science degree is a plus.
Again, if they say it's a plus, it is not necessarily required.
Previous experience in data entry, operations administration, or a similar role is a plus.
Knowledge or experience with the financial service industry, a plus.
All of this is just kind of an added bonus to what your other qualifications may be.
As far as what's like to work here, 3.3 out of five stars.
So pretty average score there.
Now, benefit wise, I don't think you're going to get any benefits because you're a contractor.
So I'm going to skip that part.
Interview wise, you have a three out of five difficulty score, which is very average.
59% positive compared to 15% negative is good.
I'd say that's above average and a solid score for the interview experience here.
