Semifinal: Scandicci vs Milano | Italian Volleyball LVF SerieA1 Coppa Italia Frecciarossa 2025

It doesn't work though. That's a great block and drop of that. Block is in and this is... Good up by Oro. It's another top swing from Igono. I haven't seen her start this well in... I don't know how long. She was 13 when I was born, so... Oh wait, 11 actually. Yeah, but age is just a number, isn't it? You can distribute like she does. Oh, Silla! Magnificent, but so too is the block. And that's the difference at the moment. Scandicci are really doing well here. Four points they lead by... That's one... However, Castillo's pinched it. Good touch in the block by Danese. Oh, well played, Nwakulor. Clever play from Oro. Very smart... Lovely pass from Silla. And that will be a point for Igono. ...for at the moment. Milano, after going behind at the start, made a substitution. Gazzetta's come in, making a difference. But now there's a chance here for Scandicci to get to within one. And that's taken emphatically by Antropova. Karel. It's perfectly placed from Igono. Or is it? It's an important part of your game to be able to do that. Oh, yes. It's gonna be free ball Scandicci. What a block from Danese. Milano now, 23-20. They've turned it right round, like a record baby, right round. Oh, she's done it again. Danese's putting up a wall, an Italian wall, that no one can get past. That's it. Went to the line, scored. Goes cross-court, scores. Scandicci to within three. That's what you want. Silla concentrates on the one important thing, making that pass as good as it can possibly be. It doesn't matter that she's out. ...is doing really well. Good touch from Castillo. What a hit from Antropova. Gaspari is absolutely lovely. ...once again. A serve, Britt Herbertz. ...to her, which is what they do. Good up. Oh, well played, Castillo. Scherlin getting involved. Both Libros working hard in this rally. But no one can get a full swing. And when they do, it gets shut down momentarily. Scandicci come again, Antropova. She puts a dent in the floor. Graziani with the serve. And they've got a swing for the set. But Herbertz is put down by Alessiaro. And the set continues momentarily, you feel. ...with the serve, it's one set all. Nice touch, but it's going to come over. Oh, Castillo digs the ace, he's best. And Antropova has found the floor, break points. That was an easy ball to play. ...once again. Again, Ognjenovic going behind. She takes it quite low in front. It is readable. Dalderop, what an angle! Decent ball from Ruddins. And they like, love it. They love to run Herbertz around the block. Start wide, drive in. Gotta have good thing. But the referees make far less errors than the players ever will. That's a lovely set, because it's given Silla a free swing to take that to Bankstown. Ruddins. Down ball for Scandici. But Herbertz doesn't find the floor. Oh, I say! That is the hit of the match so far from Igonu. Well played. Everyone thought that Ognjenovic was going to play that one over. That's what you gotta do. That's going to stay in play. Yes, it is. Worth a swing. And a big point. Advantage Milano. 2018. Great team play. Medium-team luck. Oh, clever play. Ognjenovic. Oro knew it was coming and still couldn't stop it. Presence in this cup. She knows what she's doing. And Igonu comes good. 24-21. Change the way you see and appreciate the game. And at last, Antronova with her first ace of the match. Oh, that's well played. Silla finds the smallest gap to squeeze that ball into. The good part is, she intended to do so. Lovely. Nwakalor. Just like Nwakalor, she intended to anticipate that set. Well played, Silla. And good work from Oro as well, going right back. Oh, good touch by Castillo. Yahoo! Tastic! The one-foot yahoo. Well, this is a real chance here. And taken by Antronova. 18-14. I'm going to say Konstantinidou, the Greek international. Makes a good set. Castillo couldn't get out of the way of that. What a touch! Another chance for Milano. No chance. Antronova with the block. Scandici with a five-point lead. That works. Side-out achieved. And they're going to have a swing for the set. Carroll acting as setter. Antronova as hitter. And that is just wonderful. Having the momentum on their side. It's an ace serve start for Herbotz in set five. Yes. Just bringing the heat on that. Oh, what a touch. Nice high ceiling. Good cover by Antronova. Ruddins. Free ball, Scandici, Nwakalor, Herbotz, Antronova, Ruddins. Who's getting it? Oh, it was Antronova, but no one could get it on the floor. And now it's all over because Igonou. Like Clayton Lucas can say whatever he wants. Butchering my last name is not a problem. Oh, I do apologize. Chance and Scandici. Ruddins! Ruddins doesn't apologize with the... Great touch, Oro. Dines is there again. Oh, Dines has got the ball back to serve. Yeah, yeah. Scramble play here. And it will be Scandici who come out on top. What a swing from Herman. She's square on the net. That's a hit away from the body, not six. No, she nearly did. She went to one. Instinctively as a setter, she went to one. Realized Igonou's in the way. And that's a go by the six and it's like getting the position. Go through automation. Good pass from Silla. Well played, Dinesi. 13-11. Milano are getting closer. Sit on the serve. For the match. Dinesi's done it. It's all over. It is Milano who book their place in the final. What a game. What a fight.
