Capital One has been slowly becoming
famous for its highquality lounges that
are rivaling the Centurion lounges from
American Express and the relatively new
Sapphire lounges from Chase and cap one
today February 21st opened the latest
Lounge in its portfolio hey credit
Warriors welcome to the show my name is
Ben Hedges aka the credit Shifu and on
this channel I cover Us credit cards as
well as personal finance in order to
have you get more value out of your
money if you like the sound of that
please subscribe but let's get into it
so this brand new capital 1 Lounge is at
Las Vegas's Harry Reid International
Airport Terminal 1 Concourse D on level
two you have to get the train from the
main part of Terminal 1 and then go up
the escalator to level two if you've
been to Las Vegas Airport you'll know
what I'm talking about the lounge is
88,200 Ft which is a little on the small
side most lounges seem to be above
10,000 so it's a little small but it's
not tiny when you arrive there at the
entryway they have a grab and go Section
which has been becoming more and more
popular at other Capital One Lounge
locations for people who are in a hurry
to get their flight but still want some
free food and drink to take with them
and then there's obviously a sit down
dining area and for the first time a
trolley service that delivers afternoon
tea and sunset champagne to your table
we also have a shot of the bar and these
photos come from what Capital One gave
us in their media pack that they sent
out and then there's also a shot of one
of The Quiet workrooms capit One detail
some of the vendors that they are
working with on this Lounge in their
press release for example the C coffee
comes from Vesta coffee roters among
other drinks the lounge has a signature
cocktail which you can order which is
made by these guys herbs and Rye which
is a popular Las Vegas cocktail bar then
there are 35 art installations by local
artists and you can see some of those in
these two photos and then we have the
roaming carts that they call Daily
rituals this cart provides an Italian
style shaken iced coffee in the morning
view from the wing had a photo of that
in his article about this Lounge then
there's the afternoon tea service on the
roaming cart serving teas from art of
tea and pastries from suzuya Patisserie
as well and I feel hungry just thinking
about that one and then don't forget
there's also the regular food in the
lounge as well the points guy had some
nice photos up on his article about the
lounge and the regular food is served in
individual bowls so you don't need to
shovel it out of a big you know tray
it's kind of more hygienic and it look
really good I'll put links to the Points
Guy and to the article from view from
the wing as well so you can check out
more photos and stuff on their two
websites that will be in a pin comment
down below the lounge will be open daily
from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and how do
you get in well as with other Capital
One lounges only Venture X and Venture X
business card holders get free unlimited
access and they can bring up to two
guests for free additional guests are
charged at $45 per person then for
Venture and Spark miles card holders you
can go in for $45 per person and for
everyone else even if you don't have any
Capital One cards you can buy buy a day
pass for the outrageous price of $90 so
I recommend don't do that just go to
McDonald's in the terminal or something
all right guys that's just a quick video
to show you this new Lounge it's open
now and if you're going through Las
Vegas Airport do go and check it out let
me know in a video comment what it's
like please subscribe to the channel if
you're new and we'll see you next time
bye-bye
