Hey guys, it's me, Chalker from FatChannelScreen, and welcome to today's episode!
It's been a while, I've missed you guys so much!
Anyway, do you guys see these skates?
The Powerslide Hardcore Evo Trinitag.
So, I've been using these skates for a while now, and I have a lot of good memories with them.
But, I decided to replace them with something else.
So, I replaced these Hardcore Evos with...
Some different Hardcore Evos!
Well, these ones are a little bit more different, and this is what I'm going to talk about in this video.
So, let's do this!
The particularity of these skates is that they are custom made.
I went to the My Powerslide website and made my own version of the skate.
I could have been more creative with the colors, but I wanted to keep a stealthy look that I really enjoy.
But, I also wanted to swap the Trinity mount with the classic 165mm mount,
so I can use non-Trinity frames on my skates.
After a few months, my skates were ready, and I added the following pieces into them.
The FR Deluxe V3 frames.
These have a pre-rocker, so I don't need to shift any balls to have the rocker,
nor have to use wheels in a different size either.
They are also very stiff.
These are actually my favorite frames.
For the wheels, I'm planning on using different sets,
starting with the AXS wheels from Icon.
I also like the cyberpunk vibes I'm getting from these wheels.
After that, the FE Slider wheels.
I suppose it's from Flying Eagle?
And they have a hardness of 98.
I've never seen that before.
And to finish, I'll also be using my old Luminous wheels.
I've done a review about these wheels a few years ago,
and I suggest you to watch them, because they're actually cool.
Now, for the bearings.
I was planning to use the gold bearings that Icon sent me,
but I don't seem to find their dedicated spacers though.
The other set I have are the Revolver bearings from Locoskates, the sponsor of this channel.
So if you're looking to get some equipment, check their website.
And then, I also have some Q Gear bearings.
There's nothing particular about them,
just some ABEC 7 bearings that can come in handy.
Actually, I'm thinking on uploading the full version of this assembly in an ASMR style,
if you want.
Don't hesitate to tell me in the description below.
Now, how do these skates feel?
Are they any different?
Actually, not really.
They still are Hardcore Evos,
a fully heat-moldable boot with a carbon fiber base.
So I recommend you to check my review of those skates if you want to learn more about them.
But there is one thing that I immediately felt that is
the difference in height due to the different mounting system.
The 165mm mount sits higher compared to the Trinity that I really got used to.
But it doesn't really affect my skating though.
But I kinda miss the Trinity.
Maybe I'll make another custom Evo, but in Trinity.
I don't know.
Alright guys, this is it for today's episode.
Don't forget to subscribe because the next video is going to be quite special
because Vladimir and I will have the opportunity to test
a very special pair of Elan skates if I may say.
So I'm really excited to show that to you.
Don't forget to also share this video to your friends
and see you in the next episode.
