Welcome to the show. I'm Mike Siegel in sunny Calabasas, California,
and I'm about to see this new home that defines modern elegance. Come with me.
Tomer, show me this beautiful home. It looks amazing from the outside.
So we're at 25354 Prado de la Felicidad in the ultra exclusive estates at the Oaks of Calabasas.
We are double gated and I cannot wait for you to see this custom home.
I can't wait to see it either. Let's go.
Wow. All I think about when I see this is modern and design. This is so stylized.
Highly stylized. The house was envisioned by Michael Palumbo from Palumbo Design.
Gorgeous contemporary finishes. If you look at the ceiling, you've got the smell work.
We've got floating staircase in the middle of the house that anchors the whole house.
And then you've got about 22,000 square feet of opulence.
22,000.
Absolutely.
Man, these staircases and the glass walls accompanying them, that really jumps out at you.
Exactly.
All right. Well, show it to me. I can't wait to see it.
Let's go.
Whoa. This is like the lobby of the coolest hotel.
It is. It's so chic and so well thought out. So we are in what we call the formal great room.
You've got a formal dining room to our left. The entire room is anchored by this fireplace with
floor to ceiling black glass, which is so beautifully done.
And the beautiful flower on top.
Beautiful art. Furniture is all included in the sale of the home. Art is not, but the furniture
is. And what we have here is these beautiful accent pieces throughout the home. So we've got the
formal dining room. You've got a lounge area.
A stunning wet bar.
To your right. And then, of course, the formal living room.
It's cool what they've done because the colors on the walls and the ceilings are more neutral,
kind of gray and black. So the art and the furniture are very colorful.
Everything opens up to the backyard and the grounds and the most jaw dropping views you've
ever seen. Of course, as you walk in, one of the most beautiful focal points in the coolest
is this water tank that actually houses your wine collection.
That's wine. My first thought was that was a fish tank.
So initially they thought to make it a jellyfish tank. And then they thought,
you know what? The functionality is really needed because you're entertaining in this room.
So they made it a wine storage. So you actually put in your wine bottles or champagne bottles there.
And in front of that, you've got a drop down TV.
Well, speaking of wine, I think we should see the kitchen next.
Absolutely. Let's go.
That's where I keep my wine.
Look at that. OK, now this is the ultimate party kitchen. I mean, a huge island and it's indoor
outdoor. So what we all love about this house is how chic and minimal and sophisticated it is.
But then you've got the functionality. So you've got a massive island that's for breakfast,
cooking. We've got all the melee appliances behind us. The kitchen is Moltini,
which was imported from Italy. And then you have it all open to the family room.
And then everything is floating and open to the ground. It really is spectacular.
It's perfect for California because with the weather you want an indoor outdoor space.
Absolutely. And in addition to that, this is one of two kitchens. So we've got the family kitchen
where you're hosting and entertaining. And then you've actually got a stunning and sleek
caterer's kitchen behind that wall for your chef or if you want to whip up some grilled cheese.
I could live in that caterer's kitchen, actually.
You could almost leave these walls and windows open year round. I'm planning my party already.
I saw there were stairs leading down. A gym, theater, additional bar area and
suites. And I would love to take you to see them. I'd love to see it.
I feel like I've wandered into a whole new city down here.
So this is the entertainment wing. So to the left, we've actually got a glass billiards table.
To the right, right in front of us, we have a wet bar that is up for bar of the year award.
The most elegant screening room. I picture a Hollywood executive in here. Hey, come down,
have a drink. We'll go to the screening room. We'll play a game of pool.
Absolutely. It is ideal for the L.A. lifestyle. And then beyond that, actually, in the second
wing of the lower level, we have a gym. It opens up to the outside. It has its own bar area.
Juice bar. OK, I was going to say that's not the healthiest gym. Sounds like my kind of gym,
though. Yeah, well, this is very incredible. So it's got to have an incredible master suite,
I'm sure. Absolutely. So we're going to head on up and take a look at the master bedroom.
Sounds great. Lead the way. Whoa, this is this is the epitome of room with a view.
It absolutely is. So this is the primary bedroom. It takes up virtually a whole wing of the house.
We've got dual baths, dual closets, a breakfast bar with cappuccino maker,
desk area and full refrigerator. And of course, it's modern design, but it doesn't seem
cold, you know. So what they did and they brought in all these wood elements.
So, for example, behind the bed and carried on into, I'll say, the breakfast area or the
breakfast bar area, you've actually got a lot of warmth that's brought in by the materials.
And when people buy this house, are they getting the furniture up here as well?
They are. They're getting a full package of all the furniture,
accessories, et cetera. Just not art, but everything else is turnkey.
Well, the view is such a part of this room. Can we go out and see it?
Absolutely. Let's go down and tour the grounds. Super. Lead the way.
Here's that indoor outdoor space. This is a place to have a party.
This is the true quintessential California LA lifestyle where you've got indoor family living
and then outdoor entertaining. So we are now under what I would consider the main
veranda of the house. And it is a fantastic focal point for the 1.7 acres. You really have
everything in one property. I'd never want to leave. So when we look at the view,
what are we looking at? We're actually looking at Malibu Canyon
and we're looking at the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy. So beyond those mountains is actually
the ocean. And that's a guest house back there as well. Out the door, how many bedrooms, baths,
square footage, price? What are we talking? So we've got eight bedroom suites. We've got
10 baths. We're about 22,000 square feet on 1.77 acres. And the list price is $37,999,000.
Thank you so much, Tomer. This is an amazing place. We really appreciate you touring, Mike.
Can I book my reservation even for the guest house?
