Morby Hill House is an elegant classic grade 2 listed beautiful Georgian vicarage set in the
north Yorkshire countryside near the popular market town of Borough Bridge and is currently
on the market. The house was built in the mid-1800s, is secluded and set in its own ground
with an adjacent field and has delightful views of the Howardian hills. When our family was growing
up and the children needed more space we sought a larger house with a good garden and access to
good transport facilities for the local schools. As we drove up the drive of Kirby Hill House
I somehow knew this was the home for us. It was love at first sight. After significant renovation
works we settled into our lovely family home. I've loved the freedom of walking out of the house
into the open countryside and along the river. I have seen beautiful wildlife and birds along the
way. We are even privileged to have a little owl living in the fir tree in our garden.
I love Kirby Hill House because it is light, welcoming and has well-proportioned rooms
and high ceilings. I like the tall trees outside, the ha-ha, the gorgeous mulberry tree and also
watching the sun rise from my bedroom window. We have enjoyed summer parties on the lawn,
tennis matches on the tennis court, supper gatherings in the dining room and drink
