Hypothyroidism is actually a very common condition in medical practice, And whilst obviously falling under the purview of endocrinology, will cross all specialties, and all doctors should be competent in performing a thyroid examination, or thyroid assessment.

As a result this video looks at the thyroid examination, and what clinical features you may find on a patient with hypothyroidism Or hyperthyroidism, and will also look at some of the blood tests performed when doing thyroid examinations and investigations .
