Pt 2, when I built the Mothership greenhouse I planned to put a 10x12 Greenhouse as a hothouse inside the greenhouse for added insulation when starting seeds and tree seedlings because It’s so cold where we live to just build it outside. This way it will only take a small space heater and seed mats to keep the seeds warm (80°F) when the outside temp is sub zero (today the night temp was 5°F
If you’ve never started peppers, they need to be 80°F to germinate and take 3-4 months to be ready for transplanting. For us that means starting them Feb 1 when it’s below zero outside. Everything else starts March 1st and it’s still below freezing at night here.
We already have the Walipini (watch my video) but it’s pretty cramped. Now we’ll start and grow pretty flowers in the Walipini and veg and nut trees in the inner sanctum hothouse.
This is a Harbor Freight greenhouse going inside our huge high tunnel greenhouse big enough to play soccer inside this big one and a 10x12 spot won't be missed but will add to our all around growing.
