DOGE Wins Lawsuit, Access To IRS Imminent, Audits SEC & Fort Knox Next; Rubio In Saudi For RUS Talks

Hello all you freedom loving people. NATO reacted after Pete Hegseth reiterated that they need to increase defense spending. Israel pledged to finish the job against Iran and Doge won a legal victory. Okay, let's get into it. On Sunday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. They presented a united front against their common enemies. One of the common enemies is Hamas. Netanyahu says that Hamas must release all hostages. Benjamin Netanyahu said, We have a common strategy and we can't always share details of this strategy with the public, including when the gates of hell will be opened as they surely will if all our hostages are not released until the last one of them. Hamas released three living male hostages on Saturday as required by the ceasefire deal. But what President Trump asked for was for Hamas to release all hostages. President Trump said on Saturday that it was up to Israel to decide how to respond to Hamas missing his deadline. President Trump wrote, The United States will back the decision they make. Netanyahu called a meeting of the security cabinet on Saturday night to decide on the next course of action. However, there was no indication in the statement as to what action Israel would take. On Sunday, Netanyahu promised that Israel would realize the overthrow of Hamas, bring back all hostages and ensure that Gaza would not pose a threat to Israel in the future. Marco Rubio told the press that the first issue President Trump has been clear on is that the hostages need to come home. They need to be released. That must happen. It's not optional. Marco Rubio also reiterated President Trump's attitude toward Hamas by saying, Hamas cannot continue as a government or military force. And frankly, as long as it stands as a force that can govern, as a force that can administer, or as a force that can threaten by use of violence, peace becomes impossible. It must be eradicated. It must be eliminated. But a more important common enemy than Hamas is Iran. Rubio reminds us that Iran is behind every violent act in the Middle East. Marco Rubio said, The common theme in all these challenges is Iran. It is the single greatest source of instability in the region behind every terrorist group, behind every act of violence, behind every destabilizing activity, behind everything that threatens peace and stability for the millions of people who call this region home is Iran. And Netanyahu strongly agrees. Benjamin Netanyahu said, Israel and America stand shoulder to shoulder in countering the threat of Iran. We agree that the Ayatollahs must not be allowed to have nuclear weapons. We also agree that Iran's aggression in the region has to be rolled back. When he spoke of Iran, Rubio stressed that he is referring to the regime and the people of Iran, he said, are victims of that regime. Israel's defense ministry confirmed on Sunday that a shipment of US MK-84 heavy bombs arrived in Israel during Marco Rubio's visit. The MK-84 is a 2,000 pound bomb that can penetrate thick concrete and metal. Israel is the first stop on Secretary Rubio's first trip to the Middle East. He will also visit Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to discuss with regional countries President Trump's proposal to take control of the Gaza Strip and relocate the residents to Egypt and Jordan. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte offered some blunt advice to NATO's European members at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday. He said, stop complaining and present solutions. President Trump has asked European allies to increase defense spending to 5% of GDP. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called on NATO allies to boost their defense spending by saying, we can talk all we want about values. Values are important, but you can't shoot values. You can't shoot flags. You can't shoot strong speeches. Pete Hegseth went on to quote President Eisenhower when he complained about Europe in 1959, making a sucker out of Uncle Sam. Pete Hegseth told the foreign dignitaries, like President Eisenhower, this administration believes in alliances, deeply believes in alliances, but make no mistake, President Trump will not allow anyone to turn Uncle Sam into Uncle Sucker. But this has caused some backlash from the European allies. NATO officials agreed to further increase their own defense spending, but some did not accept the 5% number. This was because that means additional hundreds of billions of dollars need to be input. A number of European dignitaries have called higher military spending unacceptable. In mid-January, the defense ministers of Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy and Poland, five of Europe's biggest military spenders made it clear that President Trump's 5% NATO defense spending target was unrealistic. That was the context in which the NATO Secretary General made those remarks. Ruda says that Europe has not paid enough in the last 40 years, especially since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Mark Ruda said the U.S. is rightly asking for a rebalancing of that. It's totally logical. Ruda also confirmed at the NATO summit in The Hague, Netherlands in June, members will reach a new agreement on defense spending targets. While the new target may not be 5% of GDP, it will certainly exceed 2%. The U.S. makes up 50% of NATO's GDP. So the alliance is first of all an American organization, he said. Ruda added that there is a clear commitment to NATO on the part of the U.S. Despite this, the tone of the new U.S. Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, was not only unacceptable to our European allies, but also shocking to politicians in the U.S. at home. For example, Hegseth says that restoring Ukraine's pre-2014 borders is unrealistic. Senate Armed Services Chair Roger Wicker made significant political cost in support of Pete Hegseth's nomination during the heated confirmation process, but he had a different take on Pete Hegseth's remarks at NATO's headquarters. Roger Wicker said, I don't know who wrote the speech. Everybody knows, and people in the administration know you don't say before your first meeting what you will agree to and what you won't agree to. There are plenty of Americans who share Wicker's view also. They believe that even if you think that way, you shouldn't just say so. But President Trump considers Hegseth's speech to be good, and he expressed full confidence in him. In response, French President Emmanuel Macron called leaders today from European Union nations and the U.K. for an emergency meeting at the Lycée Palace. He called the leaders to discuss the Russia-Ukraine war and the demands of the U.S., the leaders of France, Germany, the U.K., Italy, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, and the European Union discussed how to deal with Europe's security going forward. Ruda was also present at the meeting. However, French and German officials stated that there was no expectation of firm decisions beyond unity among the leaders. Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and his advisors traveled to Saudi Arabia in order to meet senior Russian officials on February 18. Today, Rubio met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Riyadh, and tomorrow, Rubio will meet with the Russian officials along with President Trump's envoy to the Middle East, Steve Whitkoff, and his national security advisor, Mike Waltz, on behalf of Russia. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the meeting will focus on restoring the entire complex of U.S.-Russian relations, as well as preparing possible talks on the Ukraine settlement and organizing a meeting of the two presidents. However, on behalf of Ukraine, President Zelensky said that Ukraine would not participate in the upcoming talks, asserting that Ukraine did not know anything about them. He also said that Ukraine would not recognize any peace agreements made without Ukraine's participation. A federal judge in Washington on Friday handed Elon Musk's Doge team a victory when he denied a request to temporarily block his team's access to sensitive data from at least three federal agencies, the Department of Labor, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. The Justice Department has argued that the Doge personnel in question are detailed U.S. government employees who have access to the U.S. District Judge John Bates agrees in part with the DOJ's argument. John Bates suggests that Doge took great effort to avoid being an agency, but in this case, you're an agency. It just seems to strain credulity. John Bates said that Doge was a Goldilocks entity, not an agency when it's convenient. Plaintiffs have not shown a substantial likelihood that Doge is not an agency. If that is so, Doge may detail its employees to other agencies consistent with the Economy Act. Doge is conducting performance evaluations of employees at more than 430 federal agencies, laying the groundwork for more federal layoffs. According to the Daily Mail, the Trump administration may next focus on the following government agencies that expanded the fastest during the Biden administration. Number one, the State Department. According to federal data, the number of employees at the State Department grew by 19% during the Biden administration, making it the fastest growing federal agency. Number two, USAID. The organization ranked second in employee growth of over 17% during the Biden administration. However, most of USAID's programs have already been discontinued. Number three, Department of Energy. During the first three years of the Biden administration, the Department of Energy's workforce increased by nearly 17%. Doge has initiated a layoff program. The department has already laid off 2,000 employees. Number four, Department of Housing and Urban Development HUD grew by nearly 13% during the Biden administration. Number five, the SEC. During the Biden administration, the SEC staff grew by 12%. Number six, Environmental Protection Agency, the EPA. The EPA had grown its workforce by more than 11% during the Biden administration, but some of these positions may have been eliminated. It has been reported that over 1,000 probationary employees have been notified of their termination, and over 150 employees who were focused on environmental justice programs have been suspended. Number seven, General Services Administration, the GSA. The GSA had grown its workforce by more than 11% during the Biden administration. Number eight, the Department of Agriculture. Employees grew by 10%, but during President Trump's first term, the department had laid off 4% of its workforce. Number nine, during President Trump's first administration, the Department of Labor saw a nearly 12% decrease in employees, but during the Biden administration, the department's workforce grew by nearly 7%. Now the department may be facing another major layoff. Doge has also exposed the wastefulness of many government agencies. For example, the Federal Employees Retirement Documentation System is housed in an old limestone mine in Pennsylvania. It has been in use since 1955, with more than 700 people working 230 feet underground. It's all done by hand, whether it's recording or filling out the paperwork. The limit is 10,000 applications per month, but if the elevator that takes these employees to the mine breaks down, there may not be any federal employees retiring that month. It's unbelievable. As soon as he took office, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin realized that the previous administration was in a hurry to spend and spend $20 billion of tax dollars before President Trump's inauguration. Tossing gold bars off the Titanic, rushing to get billions of your tax dollars out the door before inauguration. The gold bars were tax dollars and tossing them off the Titanic meant the Biden administration knew they were wasting. Let's check the video he mentioned. Who are the gold bars going to? Non-profits, states, tribes. We gave them the money because it was harder if it was a government-run program they could take the money away. No. If Trump won because it was a it was a exchange policy against Trump winning. Until the Trump people come in and tell really yeah it's amazing that that stuff is here. I mean because I didn't like federal government kind of thing. Well I have been doing this but I might change. Why? Doge exposed that last week alone FEMA allocated over 59 million dollars to house illegal immigrants in luxury hotels in New York City. A spokesperson for the New York City government confirmed to Foresight that 19 million dollars of the 59.3 million dollars went to hotel costs with the rest funding other services such as food and security. The Department of Homeland Security, the DHS, said that the day after Doge revealed the expenditures Secretary Kristi Noem had already recovered the money back with a clawback. The Department of Defense's waste is apparently also glaring. A 2018 congressional investigation found that each heated coffee cup on Air Force planes actually costs $1,300. According to the U.S. Air Force, the 60th Aerial Port Squadron at Travis AFB California, the price of coffee cups for KC-10 refueling planes has risen sharply since 2016 resulting in a cost of $32,000 for only 25 cups that were purchased by the military that year. But to be fair this wasn't a standard coffee cup. This was a heated cup that plugs into the aircraft itself to keep liquids hot on long missions. This particular cup has been around for decades but has suffered from a poorly designed handle. The Air Force has been using 3D printing technology to replace the handles on the existing cups. The cost is $56,000 over three years to restore the cups and the coffee mug is $1,300. Last year an audit by the Defense Department Inspector General found that the Air Force was overcharged 80 times by Boeing for soap dispensers which was an overpayment of $149,000 and it seems that it's easy to make money from the U.S. government. Of course under the new administration the situation should improve. Such as DOJ announced today an audit of the SEC for fraud, abuse and waste. DOJ is also preparing to audit the U.S. Gold Reserves at Fort Knox and DOJ having access to the Internal Revenue Service system that contains sensitive taxpayer information is also imminent. Harrison Fields who is the White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary said that access to this system is necessary to identify fraud and fix the system. The IRS website stated that the system allows the DOJ workers to have instantaneous visual access to certain taxpayer accounts. The system also has the function of researching account information and requesting returns. It can also automatically generate notices, collect documents and other outputs but the White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said that the main focus is to root out the fraud. Can you give assurances to people who faithfully pay their taxes in this country the DOJ isn't just going to go randomly sifting through the records and maybe come across the personal private records of a lot of Americans? I can give absolute 100% insurance. I give you complete and total assurance on that point. We are talking about performing a basic anti-fraud review to ensure that people are not engaging in large-scale theft of federal taxpayer benefits. I mean for example we pay billions of dollars a year in child tax credit payments to illegal aliens. Billions with a b. So these are systematic programmatic reforms that we're talking about here and as far as protecting the secrecy of tax records the IRS has been weaponized at the career level against the American people for years now. This has been one of the most invasive arms of the federal government engaging in capricious and politically based audits, leaking taxpayer information for political reasons. We are restoring the neutrality. We are restoring ethics. We are restoring security controls at IRS. In fact one of the big projects the DOJ is going to be working on is upgrading IT systems and software so that our taxpayer information cannot be stolen by criminals or foreign governments.
