The documentary “State Organs” film screening was held at Doylestown Borough Hall in Pennsylvania on Jan. 29, 2025.

“State Organs” exposes the practice of forced organ harvesting in China, featuring disturbing testimony involving torture and other human rights violations.

This video is the Q&A panel discussion after the film screening. The panelists are:

Alex Chen, M.D. is the International Liaison Officer for the Taiwan Association for International Care of Organ Transplants (TAICOT), an organization dedicated to promoting ethical and transparent organ transplant practices worldwide. TAICOT has a proven track record of success, having established partnerships and initiatives that have significantly advanced the field of transplant medicine. Alex is also a member End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club, the sponsor of this event.

With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Chen has long been committed to addressing issues related to healthcare and human rights.

Jessica Russo, Psy.D., is the Mental Health Adviser for Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) and is one of their board members. DAFOH is a nonprofit organization with a mission to educate the medical community and public about illicit organ harvesting practices in China and related issues. The organization has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times and is the recipient of the 2019 Mother Theresa Memorial Award.

Dr. Russo is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Philadelphia and is a volunteer faculty member with the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She has spoken and written extensively on the Chinese Communist Party’s forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience.

William Huang is a Falun Gong (a.k.a. Falun Dafa) practitioner and was a Ph.D. candidate at China's prestigious Tsinghua University. Simply for his spiritual belief, his Ph.D. studies were interrupted, and he was imprisoned for a total of five years. During his imprisonment, he was subjected to torture and abuse, such as electric baton shocking, slave labor, sleep deprivation, and brainwashing sessions. He was also blood-tested during his imprisonment, a needed procedure for organ harvesting. William was fortunate enough to escape China and emigrate to the USA in 2008. He now works as a senior electrical engineer and lives in Pennsylvania.

Alex Luchansky is a board member of the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the practice of Falun Dafa and the beauty of traditional Chinese culture. As a grandson of a Holocaust survivor, he deeply cares about raising awareness about the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in communist China. Alex had lived in two other countries before making the USA his home. He is a senior Information Technology Manager, caring father, and an avid believer in the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
