The documentary “State Organs” film screening was held at Doylestown Borough Hall in Pennsylvania on Jan. 29, 2025.
“State Organs” exposes the practice of forced organ harvesting in China, featuring disturbing testimony involving torture and other human rights violations.
This video is the Q&A panel discussion after the film screening. The panelists are:
Alex Chen, M.D. is the International Liaison Officer for the Taiwan Association for International Care of Organ Transplants (TAICOT), an organization dedicated to promoting ethical and transparent organ transplant practices worldwide. TAICOT has a proven track record of success, having established partnerships and initiatives that have significantly advanced the field of transplant medicine. Alex is also a member End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club, the sponsor of this event.
With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Chen has long been committed to addressing issues related to healthcare and human rights.
Jessica Russo, Psy.D., is the Mental Health Adviser for Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) and is one of their board members. DAFOH is a nonprofit organization with a mission to educate the medical community and public about illicit organ harvesting practices in China and related issues. The organization has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize three times and is the recipient of the 2019 Mother Theresa Memorial Award.
Dr. Russo is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Philadelphia and is a volunteer faculty member with the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She has spoken and written extensively on the Chinese Communist Party’s forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience.
William Huang is a Falun Gong (a.k.a. Falun Dafa) practitioner and was a Ph.D. candidate at China's prestigious Tsinghua University. Simply for his spiritual belief, his Ph.D. studies were interrupted, and he was imprisoned for a total of five years. During his imprisonment, he was subjected to torture and abuse, such as electric baton shocking, slave labor, sleep deprivation, and brainwashing sessions. He was also blood-tested during his imprisonment, a needed procedure for organ harvesting. William was fortunate enough to escape China and emigrate to the USA in 2008. He now works as a senior electrical engineer and lives in Pennsylvania.
Alex Luchansky is a board member of the Greater Philadelphia Falun Dafa Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the practice of Falun Dafa and the beauty of traditional Chinese culture. As a grandson of a Holocaust survivor, he deeply cares about raising awareness about the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in communist China. Alex had lived in two other countries before making the USA his home. He is a senior Information Technology Manager, caring father, and an avid believer in the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
800 million people in China have quit the CCP.
How do you do that?
And if the police were to come to the door of that person,
they'd just say, I'm sorry,
I'm no longer a part of the Communist Party of China.
Sorry.
Yeah, no problem, no problem.
Yeah, very good question.
In fact, until today,
right now, over 440 million Chinese people
are quitting the CCP.
That's including also the affiliated organization
of the CCP as well,
called the Youth League and the Young Pioneers,
also including retired CCP members.
So they can use their pseudonym to quit the CCP,
so for safety reasons,
not necessarily the true name,
as long as they will quit the CCP.
This is like awareness,
to let more people know about the evil nature of the CCP.
A lot of Falun Gong practitioners act as a volunteer
to persuade Chinese people to quit the CCP.
Even in overseas, in Chinatown,
for example, in Chinatown, Philadelphia,
aunties who fled out of China,
they also act as a volunteer to ask Chinese people here
to quit the CCP and its affiliated organization.
It's working that way, yeah.
Hi, my name is Marianne.
Thank you very much for coming.
Incredible documentary, very powerful.
I just have one comment.
Sorry.
One quick comment.
Horrifying to know that this is happening
around the world in China.
My baby brother was a double transplant recipient
recently, just a few years ago,
and what I heard here was awful,
but I do have a question.
Can you tell us a little more
about what exactly Falun Gong is?
So Falun Gong, it's also called Falun Dafa.
I stand up so you can see me better.
Let me know if it's appropriate,
but also called Falun Dafa.
It's a traditional cultivation practice,
and usually from the East,
sometimes they call it way of life.
So for us from the West,
sometimes we just need to relate to that.
Cultivation practice means you continuously improve yourself
on a daily basis by assimilating to certain principles,
and Falun Dafa, it's truthfulness, compassion, forbearance,
and what it means to assimilate
is to put them in practice in your everyday life.
Thinking about others first,
or always try to tell the truth, don't lie,
or be kind, or be tolerant.
If somebody comes, bumps into you,
you don't shout back.
You think, maybe they had a bad day.
Maybe they tripped.
Maybe they need to be listened to.
So that's examples of that,
and the second part of that,
when we say practice is slow motion,
easy to learn exercises,
and meditation to improve your body.
You probably heard or read many research
that meditation can improve your body
and help even rejuvenate the mind cells,
the brain cells, and reduce the stress,
which is a cause of many diseases,
and holistic health.
So Falun Dafa has that component as well.
So it's a holistic system in a Buddhist tradition.
If you heard about Tai Chi before,
Tai Chi is in the Taoist tradition.
Falun Dafa is in the Buddhist tradition,
and third philosophy you probably heard
is Confucius teachings.
So this is the core of the traditional Chinese culture
that was passed through many thousands of years.
I hope I answered your question,
but please let me know.
Any others?
Hi, thank you so much.
This is a work.
I'm gonna try this.
All right.
It was an excellent documentary.
So just for a little bit,
when it came into Chinese culture,
it sounds like it was probably accepted and embraced.
Yes.
I can talk a little bit about that.
I'm gonna stand up again.
Falun Dafa first was passed,
according to the history,
for thousands of years from single teacher to disciple,
but it was introduced to the public first time
in 1992 by Mr. Li Hongzhi,
who practitioners respectfully call teacher or master.
In Chinese, it's shifu.
It's also sometimes translated as a mentor.
And the idea was the teacher was introduced
into the public to give the benefit
because at that time,
it was time right after Cultural Revolution
and many campaigns that Chinese Communist Party led
to eradicate the culture
and decouple people from their spirituality,
from their belief in the divine.
They destroyed monasteries.
They did a lot of havoc.
Because of that,
populations start being sick across the board.
And there were a lot of issues
due to corruption, sickness, low morality.
So at that time,
there was suddenly expansion,
boom of something called qigong,
which is health exercises, essentially.
So that Communist Party allowed that exercise
as long as it was no spiritual component
because it's an atheistic, anti-God community
that communists created.
Like, for example,
if you want to worship Jesus in China,
you put Mao Zedong above Jesus.
This is what they force you to do.
And they even give you their version of the Bible.
This is example how they tried to remove that spirituality.
So when they allowed that qigong,
at that time, Falun Gong was introduced.
This is why Falun Gong, qigong,
and then spread word of mouth across the society.
So between 1992 and 1996,
according to the official numbers
and how they counted it,
they went from park to park
because there's no registration.
Everybody can come and go.
They counted in China alone
between 70 and 100 million people
were practicing Falun Gong,
which came to be more than Communist Party members
at that time.
And this is why the former leader, Zeng Zemin,
according to what you saw in the documentary,
got jealous, got really spooked,
feathered, tried to kind of prove himself.
And out of his jealousy,
single-handedly outlawed the practice.
In fact, before he did it,
one-third of the standing Politburo committee,
highest level of CCP, were practicing Falun Gong,
including their family members.
They were advising to practice Falun Gong
across all military, different police units, et cetera,
because they benefited health-wise,
and thus they saved millions of yuan
on the health insurance and other parts.
So they were promoting Falun Gong until that time
when Zeng Zemin became jealous and started outlawing it.
And overnight, 100 million people
became enemies of the state,
and the suffering, of course, extended to everybody,
their relatives, friends, et cetera.
So it was a complex situation.
You would see from history,
if you look at the news footage at that time,
one day they praise Falun Gong
and say state recommends it, this is great,
and the second day they start propaganda campaigns,
similar how Nazi Germany did against Jews,
and start demonizing, dehumanizing them,
and creating fake stage demolition and other part,
showing them as kind of not humans or even demons,
which, of course, was just a lie, yeah.
Did you?
Oh yeah, so you were receiving these, or you?
This happens throughout China.
It's primarily military hospitals.
It's kind of considered an open secret.
So people know this is happening.
Certainly people in the trans man field know.
People in the trans man field in the U.S.
know this is happening.
But you can't go against the Chinese Communist Party.
So you keep your mouth shut.
And there's tremendous propaganda against Falun Gong.
So people who are doing this,
people who are involved in transplant in any way,
are convinced that these are enemies of the state,
or they're part of this cult, they're bad people anyway,
so they need to be gunned down.
You know, whenever a government wants to enact genocide,
one of the first things they do is they use the media
to make sure that they limit sympathy from the society.
Right, so in China, all the media is state-run.
And so the moment the persecution was formally enacted,
July 20th, 1999, all the media, the news sources,
put out all of these stories about how awful Falun Gong was
so people wouldn't care.
You know, the lawyer, the human rights lawyer in this movie
mentioned that, people really become very indifferent.
And that's also happening now in the U.S.
So to get an organ from Chinese hospitals is not a secret.
Because we can see lots of virus, overseas virus,
from the Middle East, from China,
from Taiwan, from Japan, from Korea.
They all know that we have to get organs,
majority of the military hospitals.
Before, lots of hospitals, they do this kind of
overseas transplant business.
And then in order to keep the secret within the military,
because military hospitals are under Defense Department,
they can control that.
It's easier for them to control.
So they're trying to centralize all this service
under military hospitals.
And then the overseas buyer can go to China
to get organs in two weeks or three weeks.
Yeah, well that's, that's right, yes.
Well, you can already contact your Congress members now.
Your House representatives, your Senators.
We had a bill that did pass the House last year,
then it went into the Senate.
But it was too late in the year.
So it just ended up expiring.
It is gonna be introduced very soon again.
So you can already contact these elected representatives
and ask them to support this.
They're all familiar with it.
That was an older one.
That was actually a resolution.
That was calling for an end to the persecution
of Falun Gong, particularly forced organ harvesting.
But this was a bill that was enacted last year
and passed the House.
So a bill is binding, meaning that it can go into law.
So that's the idea behind the bill.
So that's why you get both chambers of Congress
to pass it and then get signed by the President
and then it becomes a law.
So the Falun Gong Protection Act
is calling for an end to forced organ harvesting
and the end of Western compliance,
including U.S. compliance with this.
Because what happens in the U.S. and many Western nations
is that we are training Chinese physicians
who will likely go back and commit these murders
because we know the donation rate is basically nothing.
It's about .03%, which is only about 300,000 people.
That's nothing, and yet China is doing
between 60 to 120,000 transplants, up to that number.
We only do about 45,000 in this country
and our donation list is maybe 145 million.
You know, there's a huge difference there.
So our pharmaceutical companies as well
that are supplying materials for China's transplants,
our medical supply companies in the U.S.,
not to mention patients who were lured
by China's short wait times.
They would have to wait a year, two years, three years
or more or never get an organ here,
but they can go to China for an appointed time
and a date where they can get their vital organ
like a heart.
So of course, they're gonna wanna do that.
You know, they're dying, they wanna live.
So we wanna protect patients as well.
So we are very tied up in this system.
So you can talk to any of your doctors
about what's going on.
There's so many doctors who don't know
and a lot of doctors, as I mentioned before,
do know what's going on in transplant,
but they just, maybe they don't quite get it
or maybe they're too afraid to say anything
or maybe they're just too invested
in the money and what's going on.
So if every one of you can talk to anybody you know,
including your doctors, your nurses,
whoever you come in contact with,
the more people that know, the better.
I mentioned before that in China,
they have used the media to make sure
that this story doesn't really get out.
And if it does, then they frame Falun Gong
as a cult, sort of evil or weird or something
so they don't get sympathy from the populace.
So that is happening now.
Western media is carrying the CCP propaganda,
the Chinese Communist Party propaganda
because a lot of our Western media works with China.
You know, they start talking about this issue.
This will destroy the Chinese Communist Party
if it truly comes out
because it's such a horrible crime, right?
I mean, this is something we saw very similar
to what the Nazis did, the doctors did,
those medical experiments.
I mean, this is really, really horrible.
The doctors who were trained to save people
are actually committing mass murder.
And so this is why people have not heard about this.
So the more people talk about it, the better.
And I just wanna say one more thing.
There was a journalist, a German journalist
who was based in Beijing at the time
and worked for the New York Times, Didi Christen Tadlow.
In 2016, she overheard a conversation
of transplant surgeons that didn't realize
she spoke fluent Mandarin.
And they were talking about this open secret
and using prisoners of conscience for organs.
And she went back to her editor.
She said, I wanna write a story about this.
He said, you can't.
We have to keep this under wraps.
And I saw the story she wrote.
It was some watered down version
about executed prisoners being used as organ source.
So it really makes a difference
if you guys can say something because nobody else is.
Yes, so based on actually some of the investigation,
we found that just final competition,
of course, the majority of final competition
but it's the Uyghurs, Tibetans, and also Christians as well.
As long as they are religious people,
they are put in a detention center,
become the organ pool for them to get the organ with it.
Yeah, we think this goes back to 2014 with the Uyghurs
in primarily in this one area, Xinjiang.
So you may have read about that.
And what they'll do is they advertise halal organs, right?
So that people in the Middle East
will be drawn to these organs
because they see this as healthy for them.
Yeah, the diagram, thank you very much
for bringing the diagram.
It shows the scale of scope.
But yes, anybody could be a victim.
Now, this shows that Uyghurs, right?
We just talked about 12 million,
70 to 100 million Falun Gong practitioners.
But also, Tibetans, right?
Six to seven million.
Also, anybody who could be arrested
on the territory of China or Hong Kong
can also potentially become a victim.
The netizens could try to expose that.
Human rights lawyers could try to protect them.
Even there was some reports of children
being abducted and used for that as well.
Now, some of these are still anecdotal.
Also, there was a formal independent
China Tribunal investigation that concluded in 2019
specifically about the Falun Gong practitioners
as the main source of organs, as well as Uyghurs.
Other groups are not fully investigated yet.
But David Matas, who was in the documentary,
he said the reason why it spilled into Uyghurs
and other groups because we didn't stop it on time
and now it could be anybody, including house Christians
who also exist in China.
They are also severely persecuted.
You probably recently saw some of the articles
where they forced to remove crosses of their house churches
and they were arresting them from their house churches.
By the way, just to explain, house Christians
are those who refuse to use their version of Bible
and put Mount Zidon above Jesus.
They try to worship the traditional way
and they usually have to worship underground.
This is why it's called house churches,
not regular official churches that are allowed in China.
Oh, Xi, sorry, Xi.
I think specifically that you see in our country here
in the U.S. that is similar to what you witnessed.
That's a good question.
First, I want to bring up one point is the persecution
not too far away from everybody here.
So, I can give you an example.
I was forced to do slave labor every day
in the labor camp and prison.
At least 16 hours a day we were forced
to make all kind of handmade stuff.
It's like a plastic flower for decoration,
Christmas tree light chain, or Spider-Man toy,
or necklace, or we made everything,
including we were forced to produce pistachio nuts.
The nuts shell pretty hard at the beginning.
We used a pair of big iron plier to open the hard shell.
You can imagine how dirty the environment is.
Everybody's squeezing a small cell.
Everything happened, including using toilet,
but we were forced to process food there.
When I just came to this country in 2008,
I saw exotic products were made in the labor camp.
So, in this country, tag the made in China
with very low price.
You can imagine how shocked I felt.
And another point is,
the CCP, the Chinese communism
is infiltrating in this country.
This is why we saw something bad happen in this country.
For example, the CCP spy,
steal the high technology from US
and bring it back to China, that kind of thing.
Also, they export the fentanyl to US.
All these kind of bad things happen.
So, I believe the CCP is the root cause of everything bad,
this I would say.
And the persecution, again, is not too far away.
It can be related to everybody.
It can, right now, it's globalization, right?
It can be related to everybody.
Everybody can be involved in this kind of thing.
This is why we, this, our responsibility
is for everyone to stand up,
to say no to this kind of a persecution.
I just wanna add one more thing,
because you talked about what kind of things
we see here in the United States.
In June, July 2024, there was internal leaked documents
that exposed some internal meetings
on the top echelons of, think about Xi Jinping
and his directs, kind of, talking about
escalating persecution of Falun Gong outside, overseas.
And then, almost right after that information leaked,
so from the August, we start seeing those horrific
mainstream media reports bad-mouthing Falun Gong
or attacking affiliated organizations,
very direct, almost repeating word for word
of finding ways to basically dehumanize Falun Gong.
And the important part here, talking about,
and this is just some of the points here,
what they do, but the portion that it says,
what is at stake, I just wanna read that here
in the report, and later you can come
and read the, see the full report.
It says, what's at stake?
Beyond the severe consequences for Falun Gong practitioners
and affiliated organizations, if successful,
this campaign would offer Beijing a blueprint
for how to destroy any company, any organization,
or group of people in the United States at will,
therefore representing a significant threat
to American institutions more broadly.
Think about this way, any religion or belief system
in the United States could be destroyed
if this campaign succeeds, and now it's going
full force in the United States.
I can try to start answering, and maybe if others
wanna share my understanding, and there was something
that published by the two Chinese generals a while ago,
something called the Doctrine of Unrestricted Warfare,
where Chinese Communist Party tried to capture
and destroy their enemy country by any means
except for kinetic warfare, don't go head to head,
but other ways, I think some of the ways
that William was mentioning, like fentanyl.
According to the latest statistics, and this is approximate,
only yearly number of deaths from the fentanyl
is more than the whole Vietnam War a year, it's annual.
And now, they're using that directly,
they build precursors and then ship it
through the different ways to the United States.
Other ways is the social media, TikTok,
where they brainwash children and have very bad impact,
including increasing the suicides
and other mental diseases, because of this damaging media
where they, on purpose, were using harmful algorithms
to attack the children and youth.
By the way, same TikTok in China using good materials
and different algorithms to enhance their youth
and limit their time on the screen.
And they specifically target people overseas,
like United States, to destroy them.
And there are many, many examples like that.
You mentioned buying a farmland.
William also mentioned stealing private property
and then destroying, undercutting our organizations
so they couldn't produce, so they become singular owners
through umbrella organizations of some things
that we produce here, and many other things to undercut.
So it's called unrestricted warfare,
and you can read more about it.
There are many, many cases of that.
Another example I do wanna mention,
recently was reports about the police stations,
official police stations in United States
run by the Chinese Communist Party.
One example was in Flushing, and it was closed,
Flushing, New York.
So that's an example how far it goes.
They created police station here
to persecute Falun Gong and other dissidents
on the ground in the United States.
And of course, as it gets exposed,
FBI found it and then they tried to close it,
but it's happening across the board.
Leakage of the viruses,
creating of the virus labs on our territory.
And there is much more to that.
Yeah, I just wanted to add to this.
So I think this is where Falun Gong comes in.
Because I think originally,
the aim of the Chinese Communist Party
in wanting to eliminate Falun Gong
was simply an ideological battle.
Because Falun Gong practices everything
that this Communist Party does not practice.
Truthfulness, compassion, forbearance.
The Communist Party can't do with that.
They can't do with one in 10 or one in 12 people
practicing this, 70 to 100 million people, right?
And so this was a big reason
why they started forced organ harvesting.
I think primarily to eliminate this group,
profit was secondary.
But I think the aim now in this genocide
is something different.
So their survival is the most important thing, of course.
And we really believe they are trying
to take over the world in so many ways
and weaken the US.
So again, if organ harvesting comes out,
this will ruin the party.
And Falun Gong practitioners
have been the largest whistleblowers
of the Chinese Communist Party's crimes,
not just regarding organ harvesting
or the persecution of Falun Gong,
but so many things.
I mean, the fact that they hid the virus
in the way they did,
not allowing domestic travel,
but allowing international travel to spread the virus,
hoarding medical equipment.
So the fact that Falun Gong
has started the largest grassroots movement in the world,
over 400 million people quitting the Communist Party,
no other group, no government has been able to do this.
They started their own media
to let the world know what's going on.
So from their perspective,
Falun Gong is a huge, huge threat.
So if we want to stop the Communist Party,
I mean, if we, yeah,
if we want to stop the Communist Party,
we have to make sure we're saving Falun Gong, right?
Officially called 1.3 or 1.4 billion Chinese population.
Yes.
So would you be willing to do this for other groups?
Oh, yeah, yes.
So I think it's great to have the screening over here
because in some country,
whenever they want to have the screening,
they got a bomb threat letter.
So like in Taiwan, they got a bomb threat letter.
If you want to have screening in Taiwan, Taipei,
or like in central Taiwan,
they got a bomb threat letter immediately.
So some of them, they cannot have the screening.
So I think this country is still a very safe country
compared to some other countries.
So I think this is something good.
We can have a screening here.
We can see the screen,
but some other countries sometimes,
because there's so many Chinese spy around there,
it keeps sending this kind of bomb threats
whenever there's an event about this.
Got a similar case that happened quite a lot of times.
Communications to school, schools, or university groups?
Yeah.
Couple years ago, we did that,
but not this film, but we did that in university in UK,
and several universities in Europe,
and also some universities probably in the US.
So we did that, but not this film.
We did that on different film, yeah.
We'll talk to anybody.
I mean, we really just want to get the word out.
It's very challenging, you know,
because so much of the media is tied up with China
that they will somehow turn the story.
These recent articles that have come out
in a very large media in the US,
they did not get the other side.
You know, the Falun Gong practitioners
tried to let them know, we can get these reports.
Here are the facts.
They were not interested.
So it's taking a real risk.
Yeah, I just want to say a couple more things.
It's not just that papers don't accept it.
Sometimes it was a local publication of op-ed letter
or things like that,
but there were a couple of components to that.
One is that the mainstream media would take information,
but then when they publish it,
they publish the opposite side,
and it becomes magnifying for the CCP.
The second part is that even when there is
some research done and something published,
the CCP has something called 50 cents army,
where they pay 50 cents for every bad post
to slander Falun Gong,
and they would send them and say,
hey, this is the article,
and there will be thousands of negative posts
on that article to totally destroy the content.
That's some of the tactics that they use,
and they also threaten directly the papers.
They basically say, hey, X paper,
if you're gonna publish one again,
all your visas revoked from all your reporters,
and you can never enter a country again.
If it's a, well, it's a huge country.
It's a lot of business,
so they do all kind of things.
They also used to invite the heads of the papers
to talk to them,
and of course, there's a honey trapping,
there's a bribery,
anything else that's going on behind the doors
that suddenly papers stop publishing
or start publishing.
CCP inserts China Daily, for example,
that was recently registered
as considered the foreign agent insert,
and then it was in many papers,
that mainstream media papers.
So that's some of the examples,
the tactics that used to suppress that
and to not let it go out,
and this is why only smaller publications
more brave to do that,
but even then, they get pressure.
In fact, including, there was recent threats,
part of this campaign,
to even VIPs, like government officials,
if you're gonna support Falun Gong,
we're gonna go after you.
So the threats are very credible,
and this is why it's harder to get the message out,
but if everyone can do it, it's great.
I can give you one example.
So I have a Jewish heritage.
My grandfather was a Holocaust survivor.
First time when the Holocaust was exposed,
the mainstream media papers in the United States
reported that it was a shower rooms,
not guest chambers.
That was first report that come out.
In fact, one of the paper was from Pittsburgh.
They shared with me that information.
Later, it was corrected,
but initial effect was chilling
until it got fully exposed
and we reached critical mass.
Why?
They wanted to work with Hitler.
They wanna stay reporting in Germany.
They wanna make sure they don't get kicked out
or somehow cut the business different ways.
I think the same thing going on here,
and we need to reach holistically critical mass.
A word of mouth, the local events, anything,
before we can stand up together and say,
no, enough is enough.
I just wanted to mention a quick story.
So back in 2001, the New York Times was banned in China.
The editor met with somebody in Beijing that year,
and then right after that,
they started doing negative stories about Falun Gong
and they rolled it back into China.
He met directly with Jiang Zemin.
Okay, so the former head of the CCP.
Yeah, and then also one more thing.
In terms of me getting the records.
Did you guys hear that yet?
Yeah.
Clearly, like in different movies
and different independent ones.
Okay, I guess you've tried podcasts like Joe Rogan
and I'm not sure.
I just wanted to do a quick one.
Because he did have someone about the legal.
So I wouldn't give up.
Those are the jobs for you.
But are any of you working on legislation?
Do you work on this hospital is coming up?
So I think we should go after the state of Pennsylvania
because we have two large state medical schools,
Pitt and Penn State Hershey.
And we need to cut money to that
if they're allowing their students,
which I know there are Chinese students in those classes
who don't stay here for 10 years or whatever.
We need to cut their funding.
So I don't think my state rep would do anything,
but I think my state senator would get them to leave.
Frank.
Speaking of great media, small media,
I heard that they closed,
CCP closed the Epoch Times Hong Kong office.
Is that true?
Or it was vandalized a couple of years ago?
Yeah, yeah.
Yes, so CCP is controlling tighter and tighter
of Hong Kong, right?
Including the Hong Kong free media.
And Epoch Times also was forced to close.
They cannot publish the hard copy newspaper for a while.
But then recently I heard that they restored
the weekend newspaper.
That's only on weekend.
Anyway, have you heard about Epoch Times, right?
It's a very, thank you, yeah.
I believe it's a very honest, very neutral newspaper.
You can have a sample there, yeah.
And CCP is persecuting everyone,
including Hong Kong, Tibetan people,
Uyghur people, Falun Gong.
Also people pro-democracy, right?
So it's really like a poison.
It cannot change its feature by itself.
So everybody have to be aware of this
until it's dissolved.
So this is why we are hosting such movie screening.
Just bring this, raise awareness.
Then they'd ask what we can do.
I think one thing we can do definitely,
you can post the false alarm harvesting thing
on your social media, Twitter or Facebook.
Then a lot of people can know about this kind of truth.
It's definitely truth covered up
by the so-called mass media, right?
I also wanna say there is important message here as well.
Chinese Communist Party is not China.
Chinese people are wonderful people.
Chinese culture is amazing culture
that we can learn a lot from
and have a lot of similarities with.
So we wanna be very clear that one of the things
that Chinese Communist propaganda does
both in China and abroad is to try to equate,
hey, without Chinese Communist Party,
there cannot be China.
No, without Chinese Communist Party,
China will flourish, people will be free
and they will be free to practice what they want,
how they want and restore a country
to the better shape than it was.
Chinese Communist Party came from the West,
in fact, former country I was born in, USSR.
It was imposed on people illegally, by force, by lice,
and it has to be gone.
Once it's gone, Chinese people will flourish again.
And this is why we are speaking on behalf
of those who don't have voices.
We wanna cherish Chinese people,
we wanna cherish their culture,
and I hope that at some point they will be free
to live and to believe.
Thank you.
