We take the early bird KEY WEST EXPRESS boat from Ft Myers to Key West and back on a 1 day trip. It was a long way there and back, but mostly it wasn't enough time to see everything we wanted to see. We did get photos at the Southernmost Point, and got a whole key lime pie from the Key Lime Pie Factory. We rode the entier island on a "hop on, hop off" trolley and learned a lot from the driver's stories about the island and town.
