Semifinal - Club World Championship 2024 | Conegliano vs Milano

What kind of touch these two teams are in and they look in top gear here. Wow! Ho ho ho! Here's another start. Sarah Farr, middle player, tests. The pass very early. Miriam Siller. And a chance here in transition. For Caneliano and it's taken with a massive blocker. Cracking start to the match. Dalderop, solid pass. Igonu has to come and find it. Borwos defence. And Hawke chips it cross-court. Igonu keeps it in play. Another swing for Dalderop. She goes tip and it's well seen by Farr. Very good stuff from Ju Ting and listen to the response. Against the perfect record of Caneliano who topped the table. Oh wow! Hey Igonu! Can Caneliano, can his team maintain this level of play? Ho ho ho! Wow! Sarah Farr. The game flowing nicely. Brilliant introduction from the FIVB and Volleyball World to its coverage. Heavy swing. Dalderop in the right place. Can she finish? Oh! Touch from Di Gennaro. Rally continues. Igonu. Finished. Very well indeed. Match here today. If Milano keep playing like this, this is going to be very hard. Brilliant. See Borwos do that a little bit more this season. Season so far arrived. Has been brought into the squad gently and gradually. She's loving every element. Even her defence which has never been her favourite part of the game. Ho ho! You are kidding me! No, no, no! You can't do that on a volleyball court. Ho ho ho! Igonu's pounded it. Di Gennaro. Backline. Igonu into the frontcourt. Big block then waiting for Gabi. Beats it. With ease. Oh, she's so good. She's turned. Very good serve from Milano but also a slightly fragile pass from them. Milano with their passing issues as well. Di Gennaro turns setter. Beautiful ball and very well blocked. And put away. Serves and plays defence. Crowd goes silent. Igonu. Hammers it. Good touch again from Gabi. She has been on fire in defence. Not the best link from Borwos though. To Hawke. Oh, you are kidding me! Gabi is something else. Third go. Third defence. This time Borwos. But she just stabs it into the crowd. She just puts it into play. Sets up for defence. Bit of confusion there. Ran to her usual defensive position and bumped Igonu. Yields nothing for her team. Good shot. Good pass. Borwos. Goes middle. And that's stunning touches. Oh, what a piece of defence from Silla. Elders to the party but still not quick enough. Just went there again. The arms as well. Nice positioning from Di Gennaro. Not this time though. Once again the tempo ball to Ju-Ting is dealt with very nicely. Bania of Poland and the USA on the bench. If he needs to go there. The wing spikers. And she's getting all out of shape at the moment Ju-Ting. Borwos wants to go there again. Goes back to the reliable player in the back. The right numbers in the red square if you're wondering what that was. Eight seconds to deliver. Oh, wow. Incredibly dangerous. Too good. Quite simply put it is too good. She's missed it. Gabi's getting on with this as quickly as she can. This is good stuff from the Panthers. Now might have been going out. Gabi didn't want to gamble that it hadn't touched the block. Fukudomi gets in on the defense action. Brilliant. Free ball. Must be Panthers now. It is. What a beautiful set from Borwos. In the midst of the chaos. Jumps a long way into court. Nearly hits the floor before she hits the ball. Oh, you are kidding. Well, for any of you that used to watch. Johnny goes after that one. Very good serve. Very good pass. Milano have done well to keep that in play and score. He's putting a bit of spice into these serves. Ju-Ting passes under pressure. Hawke nails the line. Fukudomi with a great touch and that's a brilliant rescue from Borwos. Oh, he's so clever. There's almost an element of cheek about this. Cup setter to Oro. Wendy feeds the middle but it's spotted. The experienced kid. Left side. A bit of extra from Miriam Sir. Let's see Milano get away with anything. It's in play. Kira Keller hoists it for Hawke. Hawke smacks it into position one for the cleanest of kills. The final set of the semi-final. Between the team in the pink. Mumia Vera of Ole Milano. Battling so hard against the team in blue. Who at the moment are crushing them. Prosecco. Do-ki-mo-ko. It's not going well at the start of set three for Milano. Good serve, what a pass. Nice set from Oro. But the bloke has still got a piece of it. Fukudomi on the edge with defence. And Juting just giving the ball a little too tight. To a very good block. Igonu to serve. He's been hitting the ball very well from the line today. Not the best set from Borwos. Nice good dig from Gabi. Nice from Silla. And Dalderot can't beat Gabi who's back to her best in defence. Oh Silla. Genius. And that is magnificent volleyball. What a. Quite magnificent. It's required again. Oh well played. Well played Ashurboros. When the setter comes to the ball like. It's in play. Oh wow. Where were you guys? Where were you? Serves at ace. And she continues. So far. Ace. There we go. Ace for Hawke. With a dipping ace. Nice. Nice from Igonu. Danger moment for Caneliano. And Igonu is in good shape here. They need to see her away from the service line before things get a little shaky. Nice out of the pipe. Caneliano. And Kirikela. Are not going to let that. And this season in general. She's played her way into this match. Good serve. Oh. Oh wow. Gabi will serve. She's got an ace in this set. That's another tricky one into play. Well saved by. Oh well blocked. Oh terrific. From far. And Juting. Let's go with the set. It's a good serve. Juting takes the pass. Gets the ball. And hammers it. Oh. What a play to finish the game. Juting. And Prosecco. Doki Mokko. Caneliano. Are in. To the club world championship final. Here in China. With a three sets to nil win.
