California is one of the top agricultural producers in the world. However, the farming community faces significant challenges. Siyamak sits down with Nathan Magsig, Fresno County Supervisor, to discuss how California's policies are conflicting with farmers' needs and explore potential solutions.

"We always get excess water in the northern parts of the state, there were huge water projects which brings water from up north down to supply water to Southern California. But a lot of those facilities have not kept up with growth.

Some components of environmental law are good. We need to preserve habitat to the extent possible, but also too our laws should be serving the needs of the public. But right now, a lot of the laws that we have especially environmental rules, they put the needs of the environment above people, and that's not what this country was founded upon," says Magsig.
