What A Return From 🇿 Chad Le Clos at Men's 200m Butterfly at Swimming World Championships 2022 🏊♂

Laclau, 18 world short course medals, he's won this event four times. Away they go, Julian in the black cap in lane four. Laclau, white cap lane number five and we watch for Rossetti down there in lane eight in the black as well as they complete the first of eight laps here. This is the men's 200 butterfly final. Oh look at that relaxed first 25 of Laclau in the white cap. Julian going through in 51.23. Seto second and back there in third place probably planting Laclau's within striking distance and so too Rossetti down there in lane number eight the defending champion. Yeah no lead's going to be too big for Julian because through that last 25 he can really tighten up just like we saw from Flickener in the women's race. Seto with a strong third lap he's made his move a little bit early. Watch for Laclau, we know Laclau's got the best underwaters in this event in history. Staying under now is Laclau pulling up on the shoulder of Julian. It's a three-way battle. Julian's going backwards. It's Laclau and Seto. Look at Laclau go. Chad Laclau, an absolute superstar in South Africa and he's well out in front. He pushes off the wall and he's surging towards a gold medal here. And look how much that means to him.
