Shaine Casas on 200 IM World Title: "I didn't know if that swim was going to come back"

It's kind of something I've been working for for a while and for the longest time. I didn't know if that swim was going to come back and that's just kind of the ups and downs that I've been through but you know I trust in the program and trust in myself and you know I've grown a lot a tremendous amount you know from my first short course Worlds through long course and another long course in the Olympics. I'm a completely different swimmer and human being so I'm just I'm pretty proud of myself for that but you know it's it's the first swim of the quads you know I'm not gonna really do all on it too much but it's a really great starting point I think it was more so like winning again after like a rough patch I think that was the most important for myself I don't care about the times or you know winning is great but you know for me it was it was a lot different than just the swimming portion oh yeah this arena is sick like I I mean there was like four world records I was kind of bummed I couldn't do that but I mean the world record is so damn fast but yeah but a great race up and hope everyone enjoyed you know I enjoyed it thank you
