In the Ming Dynasty, a gifted young scholar from a literati family discovered his true longing wasn’t for success but for spiritual elevation.

On his way to the imperial examination, he heard a hauntingly beautiful melody under the moonlight by a lotus pond. This music stirred in him a deep yearning.

Though initially set on taking the exam, he chose instead to search for the mysterious woman who played this divine melody. For twenty years, he studied with various musicians, yet still felt his music lacked the transcendent quality he’d once heard. One night at the same lotus pond, he finally encountered the musician again. Her luminous presence revealed that true music emerges from a pure, elevated heart.

She also conveyed that many divine beings would descend to Earth, seeking a new path of cultivation to restore harmony in higher realms. In time, he realized his destiny was to connect with this future method. In his current life, he finally encountered Falun Dafa, fulfilling the quest he had begun lifetimes before.

One transcends the mortal and ascends the divine.
