The story “Joy” is about a normal girl, Joy. As a teenager, she has to deal with a plenty of pressures in school as well as in society. For instance, the stress of exam season at school always comes up to her after each test, or the pressure she feels scared to disappoint her parents. As a result, her connection with her friends and family becomes weakened and faded day by day. At the peak of emotion, Joy seems to have some unwise decisions, but Andrea, her friend, appears to wake her up. After all, she finally realizes her mistakes and central issues. Therefore, Joy sends her apologies to her friends and expresses all her thoughts to his parents with love and honesty.
