That is way slower than in the YouTube video.
It's so good.
Melting away.
What?
Hey everybody, this is Randy Santel, Atlas,
and I am very, very excited tonight.
I'm going for overall food challenge win number 1302.
We have so many people here tonight,
all at Doc's Smokehouse in Edwardsville, Illinois,
which is part of the greater St. Louis, Missouri area,
but thank you guys all for coming.
I've been wanting to try this challenge
for a very long time.
So big thank you to Doc, his wife, all their staff.
This is a big place, Doc's Smokehouse.
My first time here.
I'm hoping to become just the fifth person
to dominate their six pound
behemoth barbecue sandwich challenge.
Now the real challenge is I only have 45 minutes
to finish everything here.
There's like a one pound, 12 inch long bun,
which should go down okay.
We will see.
There is three half pound smoked grilled cheeseburgers.
There's about a pound each of Doc's brisket,
Doc's pulled pork,
and then there's a whole bunch of sausages.
It came right out to six pounds.
The rest of the way, there's about a pound of fries.
So this au jus, I might need to dip some of the bun.
45 minutes, if I fail, it's only going to be $52,
which is not too bad.
If I do win, I'll get my entire sandwich meal for free.
I will get a sweet t-shirt to add to my collection
and it will have my name and photo up on the wall of fame
here at Doc's Smokehouse in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Lots of people here.
Cannot disappoint.
Let's shut up and eat and get this challenge started.
Woo!
All right.
Only professionals have beaten this challenge.
Not too many other people have tried
because it's so damn big within 45 minutes.
Molly's got the record, 11 minutes and 59 seconds.
We are not trying to do that.
We've got 45 minutes.
Let's shut up and eat.
Woo!
One, two, three.
Boom.
All right, taking this out.
And I think I'm going to do sausages first and then burgers.
The burgers are on the bottom.
This is going to be yummy, locally sourced.
This is a lot of buns,
so I got to save time to eat all that.
I haven't said this too often.
I've heard it many times.
This is some very thick, girthy sausage.
Woo!
I'm not giving away Katina's results.
She went before me, but if you saw what she looks like now,
you'd know it was a struggle.
But still somehow, she just looks so beautiful.
Aw!
And because I watched her go first,
I'm going to eat the burgers early on
with some of the brisket.
If I beat Brandon's time, 32.10,
Brandon's going to hear about it soon after.
He was going very slow, though.
He was eating casually, if you watch his video.
I've had a burger.
I've had some of the pulled pork.
I've had all the sausage, I think.
Definitely going with the brisket is my favorite meat.
That is so good.
I'm glad there's a lot of it.
Thankfully, there's no ribs.
I've seen a couple of racks of ribs come out.
Those look awesome, too.
The unfortunate thing is that I think
I'm going to be full after this.
Doc's makes like a two-pound pork steak,
and being from St. Louis, I love pork steaks,
but I don't think I'm going to have room for that.
I might have to get one and have it for lunch tomorrow.
We are on a good pace.
45-minute time limit.
We're eight and a half minutes in now,
and I am done with the burgers.
Woo!
It's been like a week since that steak challenge
I posted in the last video from Holly Springs, Mississippi,
and I feel it.
It was recently Thanksgiving.
I did do a little training then.
Oh, thank you.
Is this low sugar?
All right, we've got a mix of brisket and pulled pork.
I'm going to put this all back onto the sandwich
and then eat it as a sandwich,
and we have already surpassed Molly's record.
I'm at 12.48 now.
Molly did it in 11.59 casually, which is nuts.
I'm doing actually a lot better than I was thinking,
but I think this bread's about to slow me down.
This is au jus.
It is legal, given to me by the owner.
19 and a half minutes in.
I'm done with half of the bun.
Woo!
My mom and dad wanted just one child,
but they accidentally had another.
I am thankful that she's here tonight too,
my sister Shelly.
All right, I'm making sure I get all the drippings
that came off from that first au jus.
If anybody wants any bun, I've got some left.
All right, we're almost there.
Woo!
We are back in Illinois, not Missouri anymore.
If there wasn't over and under bet on this,
I was going to pick over 40 minutes,
but I'm doing better than expected.
I actually haven't used any sauces
because it doesn't need any,
but they've got a Carolina mustard
that is apparently delightful,
so I'm going to have the rest of the fries with that.
Oh, that is delightful.
You know, I think we actually will be able
to beat 30 minutes.
Let's do that.
Woo!
Yeah!
Woo!
I will say, I did a lot better than expected.
I was pretty nervous for this
because Brandon finished in 32 minutes.
Somebody beat Brandon.
Brandon definitely casually ate his,
but I whooped his time.
29 minutes and 38 seconds.
Woo!
The burgers were fantastic.
Those were better than expected.
Delicious.
Loved the American cheese on them.
The brisket, definitely my favorite,
followed by not only the burgers,
but that sausage was great too.
And then the pulled pork was great.
It would have been even better if I ate it alone
or on a normal bun,
rather than that frickin' massive one pound bun.
Big thank you guys all for coming.
Woo!
Before I end the video, though,
I need to call up somebody
that did not want to be in my video
because I take too long to get started
and she was worried about not finishing.
A special dessert has been made for us,
which Katina is going to have
maybe a little bit of it with me.
Do I have room for this?
I don't know.
What is that?
Oh, it is a cake.
Oh my gosh.
Oh, precious.
This was made for us by Noble Cakes.
Shelby was heavily involved with this.
Oh, nice.
So, you see this?
That is precious, yes.
Okay.
This is what is called a burn cake.
You get to light right there.
Okay.
And then we will get to watch.
Is it gonna like explode?
I don't know.
We probably should have used a longer wire.
Ow, burned myself.
It's like sideways.
I need a fireplace wire.
Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.
I think I can't light it.
Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.
Okay.
All right, now you got it.
Okay.
You go girl.
Is that good enough?
Okay, that's lighting, yes.
Okay.
Ooh, it's on fire.
That is way slower than in the YouTube video.
It's so good.
Melting away.
What?
Holy bananas.
I know what this is about to say.
That's why all you suckers are here.
We have been dating four and a half years.
Our subscribers have thought we've been engaged
for six years.
Will you please make it true?
Yeah, oh my God.
Will you marry me?
Absolutely.
I'm so full, I wanna like really hug you.
We will see if it still fits on her finger
after eating all of that.
Oh, we're gonna see.
Thank you to Shelby for helping the cake.
Kelly and my mom helped pick it out.
Oh, good job guys.
And it's from Tiffany's.
And I would like to spend the rest of my life with you.
Thank you.
That is it for this video.
Thank you guys all for being here
to share the special moments.
Woo!
And of course, thanks to everybody involved
and thank you to Docs.
And we'll have more upcoming about the two of us.
And we appreciate everybody supporting the both of us.
But I love you better than I look forward
to everything I've come.
Woo!
If you like this video, be sure to watch either this one
or this one, both past St. Louis, Illinois,
and Missouri area challenges.
But either way, I'll catch you in the next video.
Win before you begin, just like I did today,
and in life by meeting this girl.
And I'll catch you in the next video.
Thanks so much for watching.
Yay!
Woo!
