Should you quit your 9 to 5 job for YouTube?
Short answer, no.
You don't know how to edit.
You never owned a business.
You don't know anything as far as the ins and outs.
You don't even know how to put music on your channel copyright free.
Link is in the description by the way because people keep asking me the same questions but
I can say it in every video.
I can put it in the description.
You don't know how to learn.
You don't know how to pull up Google or YouTube to learn about what you want to do.
You rather ask a certain individual who has millions of followers as opposed to typing
in a YouTube video and letting it pop up and just watching all the people who made videos
in the past.
Same people I learned from.
So should you quit your job?
No.
Don't quit it.
If that's how you're going to roll.
If you're not willing to learn.
If you're not willing to expand.
If you're not willing to grow.
A lot of y'all just going around asking for subscribers.
Scribe to me.
I scribe for you.
Scribe to me.
I scribe for you.
Don't quit your day job.
All right.
Do not quit your day job.
A lot of y'all listen to people that don't even have over a thousand subscribers who's
not even monetized.
What makes y'all think that listen to someone advice who doesn't even have a thousand subscribers
or monetized or views that you even want.
What's the point of asking them?
You asking people with under 500 subscribers what you should do in situations that don't
quit your day job.
Don't.
Being a content creator is not for you.
It's not.
It can't become for you.
You can snap out of that little system you in and you can start learning.
You can start actually getting your ideas, putting them together, asking Google, looking
at video.
It's not that hard y'all.
Yeah, I know I say anybody can do it, but over these past few months, I've been looking
at a lot of channels and I'm realizing y'all can't do it.
Y'all bringing the same repetitive content.
A lot of y'all are.
When I say same and repetitive, meaning that you literally not talking about anything.
The subject you talking about is exact same, which is a lot of y'all subject y'all talking
about is how many subscribers you want and how you want to get monetized before the end
of the year.
It's not going to happen.
It is not going to happen.
I don't know what fairy tale world y'all live in.
The reason why y'all think that y'all can apply for a job with no experience and become
the boss, become the manager is it shows how y'all are in the real work field.
Y'all either are always at the bottom or you never got up there because the methods y'all
using, you got to use the same thing you use in real life and if y'all using that kind
of method as far as, oh, I'm walking into a job and I'm going to be hired or I'm going
to be the boss, I'm going to be the manager.
What fairy tale world y'all living in?
What fairy tale world are you living in thinking that you can start a job and within two, three
months you can be on top regardless about the people that's been there for years, who's
been humping, grinding, working overtime, slaving, miss nights with their kids, late
nights, early mornings, thinking of different ideas.
Y'all just expect to jump up to the top and just, oh, okay, I'm there just because y'all
asking for subscribers.
That is not, this is not the first rodeo as far as people going around asking for subscribers.
That's been going on for years, years.
Does it work?
Maybe for some, but what does, what actually has to happen for you to get to the top though?
You got to keep posting, you got to keep creating content, you got to keep coming up with different
ideas and you do need a video to blow up.
Simple, you need one video to at least blow up, but you rather listen to people that don't
know what they're talking about and shoot for, better yet, how about this, all these
videos on growing, how to get views.
As y'all see, I don't make videos on how to get views and stuff like that due to the fact
of it's very subjective.
So y'all let me know in the comment section, how many, how many of y'all have them videos
work for y'all?
How many of y'all actually get more views?
I'm averaging three to 500 views on my videos and it's not working for me.
Y'all averaging 20 to five views on y'all videos.
So are them tips working or you just like to have that little instant gratification,
you know, to make, you know, somebody pat you on your back, Hey, this is okay.
Let's do this.
It'll work.
But when it doesn't work, then what, or if it is working, let me know.
Please let me know it's working.
Please let me know.
Y'all are listening to a lot of the wrong people when it comes to growing on YouTube
and you are going to quit being there, done that.
When it comes to video ideas, every video idea was made already.
Every topic was made.
The topic I'm making right now was made probably millions of times in different ways, different
people, different channels.
There's no such thing as a title.
It's just like this.
Hey, y'all ever seen the, what was it, episode of South Park where they was like, Oh, Simpsons
did it.
Hey, let's do this.
They got it.
They got a great idea as far as, Oh, Simpsons did it.
The Simpsons did everything.
Why?
Because they've been out for the longest.
Same thing.
YouTube.
There's no such thing as a new title.
There's no such thing as a new wave.
When things happen, it happens.
Yeah.
Some people may come in after a month and go viral and be up to the top, but you understand
this though, y'all.
A lot of y'all are new and y'all want to be monetized by the end of the year.
You got to go viral.
You got to be like that same young lady with the same young man that turned the camera
on the very first time and get a hundred thousand new video within a month.
The chances of that is slim to none.
It's not going to happen.
Not for you.
And I'm not saying that to be mean.
It's not going to happen for you.
It didn't happen for me.
So why do you expect to grow?
Don't quit your day job.
Do not quit your nine to five for YouTube.
You can have your nine to five on the side and you can learn YouTube.
It's just like opening your business.
You don't just quit your job just to start a business that you have no nothing about.
You don't even have an income yet.
Get monetized.
Get the income.
Then get the ball rolling.
Learn how to edit.
Learn how to film.
Learn how to get out your head.
Learn how to stop asking people questions and doing it for yourself.
Simple.
Don't quit your nine to five.
Don't quit your door dash job.
Don't quit your gig job, your spark delivery.
Don't quit none of that, y'all.
And learn.
This is not for everybody.
And soon, a lot of y'all will realize that it's not for you.
And it's okay.
So don't quit your job, but always stay positive and keep God first.
And as always, God first, God dear, God will continue to do what I love y'all, okay?
I'll holla at y'all in the next video.
