Make ready.
So never in a million years would I thought I'd run a martini action on a course like this.
But if you were in a situation that you only had a martini, that's too alpha.
Well some of them yeah. Well this one I when I saw this one I think I shot this one
that's too charlie. When I shot that one I was like ah it's too alpha.
That is too alpha. Yeah it's actually quite quite tight compared to the Benelli right.
Oh charlie, too charlie. Okay so that I guess just off the bat I didn't expect for it to pattern so
tight. I thought it would have been a little bit looser like the Benelli but honestly at those
distances it seemed like the buckshot was kind of acting more like a slug right.
Charlie, charlie, alpha. Nice. So the shotgun itself is a martini action so it was developed
in the Victorian era. Outdated is is an understatement on on this in this type of
environment. I mean it's a single shot shotgun. Back in the day British soldiers would take these
uh shots or cartridges back in the day. They would put them in between their fingers and
after they shot the martini action and pop the the one out they would shove the next one in very
quickly. I try to I try to use a version of that. I probably was not as fast as a Victorian era
soldier. Up there I did not expect for those shots to be so tight to where they would perform like
slugs to be honest. The martini action never survived past the Victorian era for a reason.
It's slow. For the day for its era replacing the Snyder it was fast but after that when you
started having magazines, when you had started having feed tubes, the pump action, the lever
actions, these actions quickly replaced it. It is the martini action is strong
but after all it's a single shot and single dump. Fun run though.
