You Can’t Please Everyone 🙏🏻

I have some wisdom to pass along that I learned
this week after posting about cleaning my barbecue.

First, I was told that I am wrong for calling this a barbecue.
Never mind that if you look it up in the dictionary, barbecue IS another name for a grill.

Facts don’t matter to some people, they will still tell you,
you’re wrong!

Also I learned that people are very sensitive to anyone that might not use their barbecue year round. Apparently if you don’t grill in the rain, sleet snow or in freezing temperatures, you’re not doing it right.

I was even told that I should have my man card revoked, for putting my barbecue grill away!

I share this wisdom to remind you that you can’t please everyone. People will still find fault with you even over the silliest things.

Remember, it’s not the critic that counts, not the one who points out how you could have done things differently.

It’s the one who is actually in the arena!
