Classic Cranberry Sauce

Let me show you how I make my delicious ruby red cranberry sauce that is a must-have on my
Thanksgiving table. It is simple, it's easy, it's really light believe it or not, it's perfectly
balanced and it's just unreal. The best. Now it starts off very simply with fresh cranberries and
all I'm going to add to that is the zest and juice of one full orange along with some sugar,
a cinnamon stick and you also need to add some water as well. Now keep in mind that cranberry
sauce is the kind of thing that when you're making it looks really loose but as it sets that pectin
kicks in and it gives you that like thick jelly-like consistency. It's delicious. Once you
stir all that up take it to the stove and let it simmer. It only takes about 10 minutes or so.
You're looking for all of your cranberries to have popped and once they're there you're pretty
much done. Like I said, 10 to 15 minutes is about all it takes. Before I stir, I serve it,
I make sure that it's cooled completely and honestly it's the kind of thing that's wonderful
to have in the refrigerator. It's great on yogurt, it's fantastic stirred into some muffin batter,
it's just so tangy and delicious. A must-have. We have to have both kinds of cranberry sauce
on our Thanksgiving table so I can't tell you, I can't advise you not to do the same.
It makes everyone happy. Like I said, leftovers are great in just about anything. In the description
you'll find the recipe. Let me know what is your favorite cranberry sauce and I hope you enjoy!
