Dutch Musical Clock

Today we are looking at very rare clock. This is a Dutch Musical Clock built in the 1800's. The case is beautifully carved walnut and the clock plays 6 different songs on 15 bells with 29 hammers. At the top of the hour the movement strikes a single large bell following the music. At the bottom of the hour it will strike a smaller bell. This clock also displays the calendar month, date, and day of the week. It’s 110” tall, 24” wide, and 14 ½” deep. The dial is large too at 20” tall and 14” wide with a chapter ring of 12." The strike weight is 28lbs, time weight 22lbs, and the music weight is 60lbs. #AntiqueClock
