Philadelphia Polo Classic to Benefit Equestrian Program for Under-Resourced Kids

The inaugural Philadelphia Polo Classic will be held on Sept. 24 in Fairmount Park. Proceeds will benefit Work To Ride, an organization that introduces under-resourced kids in Philadelphia to horseback riding and equestrian sports. Former participant Kareem Rosser led the first all-Black team to win the National Interscholastic Polo Championship in 2011. Now he’s working to provide inspiration and opportunities to the next generation of Work to Ride students.
