I, Trooper Chance Swafford, was traveling east on relator avenue. I noticed a motorcycle traveling east on interstate 30 at a high
rate of speed. I activated my front radar and observed the suspects speed at 86 miles per hour. while traveling at that speed i
observed the suspect weaving in and out of traffic and following to closely. i was able to catch up with the suspect at
approximately the 3 mile marker on Interstate 30 eastbound.
The suspect exited Interstate 30 and on to Interstate 49 northbound. I activated my emergency lights and siren attempting to
stop the suspect. the suspect lifted his left hand and looked back at me before fleeing. The suspect was wearing a black jacket,
black helmet, and dark colored pants. I was unable to read the license plate on the motorcycle. The motorcycle was a street
bike, black in color with a light accent color. The suspect took Interstate 49 north reaching of 140 miles per hour plus. the
suspect exited Interstate 49 and turned right on US Highway 71 northbound.
The suspect traveled north on US Highway 71 at a high rate of speed. The suspect turned left at State Highway 108. I thought
the suspect turned around and headed southbound on US Highway 71. I turned heading southbound when i noticed the
suspect heading down County Road 2320. I turned around and went west on County Road 2320. I was unable to locate the
suspect after turning west on County Road 2320. I terminated the pursuit and stayed in the area attempting to relocate the
suspect.
Texarkana Texas Police Officer informed me that the suspect was spotted passing Texas A&M College but they were unable to
attempt to stop the suspect before losing visual.
