Harris' current campaign strategy is to attack his opponents, rather than introduce his own policies. This trait was evident at a recent CNN town hall event. So, will this strategy work?

Hello all you freedom loving people. Welcome to another episode of Front Page. I'm your host,
Scott Cameron Goulet. Elon Musk has poured more money into supporting President Trump's campaign,
but it seems the more money he spends, the richer he gets. Florida's Attorney General
sued the DOJ over blocking its investigation into the assassination attempt of President Trump.
Harris' current campaign strategy is to attack her opponent, rather than introduce her own
policies. This trait was evident in a recent CNN town hall event, so will this strategy work?
Another big move by the Democrats is to bring in big names to campaign for them.
Okay, let's get into it. Tesla shares surged 20% on Thursday. They are on track for their
best performance since 2013. That's because the night before, Tesla announced strong earnings
numbers and predicted strong growth in car deliveries through 2025. Its third quarter
revenue came in at $25.18 billion. This is slightly below analysts' expectations,
but it was up 8% from a year ago. Tesla posted adjusted earnings per share of $0.72,
above the average analyst's estimate of $0.58. Profit margins also rose to 19.8%
from analysts' expectations of 17.9%. Of these numbers, clearly profit margins are the most
important. Dan Ives, an analyst at the financial services firm Wedbush Securities, said that data
now reinforces the strong signal that investors want to see that they are getting a good return
on their investment in Tesla. Tesla's stellar profit figures were driven in large part by
increased revenue from selling carbon regulatory credits to other automakers
and a strong performance from Tesla's energy business. Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that
sales are expected to grow 20% to 30% next year as self-driving technology improves,
and more affordable models are introduced, citing lower car costs and the advent of
self-driving technology. Tesla plans to mass-produce the RoboTaxi CyberCab in 2026
and launch a self-driving taxi service in the U.S. Morgan Stanley analysts believe that
Musk's forecast for increased car deliveries by 2025 could be reached, so Tesla shares soared
more than 20%. The electric car maker increased its market capitalization by more than $100
billion and Musk's personal wealth jumped by $24 billion. Ahead of Wednesday's earnings report,
Carson Block, known for his precision shorting, said that he won't bet against Tesla.
The Muddy Waters founder said in an interview with Bloomberg Television on Monday
that he realized as early as 2021 that shorting Tesla was a fool's errand. He recognized that
Tesla's massive market capitalization was its safety net. Block told Bloomberg TV on Monday
what all the bears missed was that Elon Musk understood that the scale he needed to have was
capital base and so when he was able to yoke that stock price way up and have this enormous market
cap, I mean even if the company is bleeding billions of dollars and the stock is sinking,
there's so much market cap that he can continue to raise money. Block hasn't been optimistic about
Tesla before and said that he shorted Tesla in the past. This year Tesla's market share has been
eroded by competitors as demand for electric vehicles has slowed leading to disappointing
cash flow and revenue figures over the past few quarters. Short seller Per Lanker recently called
it the biggest stock market bubble in the history of the world and predicted that its stock price
would plummet about 93% to $15 a share but Block is unfazed by all these factors. Block said it is
a volatile stock but you know it continues to get flows. Tesla's not going bankrupt for a very long
time and that's what the bears missed because the bears were hung up on this oh it's bleeding money
it's going to go bankrupt. He thinks that Musk will continue to surprise any skeptics. He said
Elon pulls rabbits out of the hat constantly. I just won't bet against Elon. With the U.S. election
approaching, Musk has stepped up his support for President Trump. Information disclosed by America
PAC which is a political action committee supporting President Trump's campaign shows
that Musk donated about 44 million dollars to the committee in the first half of October. His
cumulative donations now exceed 118 million dollars. The Sentinel Action Fund which is
another conservative super PAC also said that it received 2.3 million dollar donation from Musk
but his millionaire making operation came to a halt after the fourth millionaire was created
because the U.S. Department of Justice sent a letter to America PAC on Wednesday
warning that the move could violate federal law. Elon Musk warns if Trump is not elected this will
be the last election. Conservatively speaking if one in 20 illegals become citizens America becomes
a one-party state. Costco has seen double-digit growth in gold sales as gold hits all-time highs.
Goldman Sachs raised their target to $2,900 an ounce by early 2025 and silver has outperformed
gold in 2024 up 32% which is an 11-year high. JP Morgan forecast silver to hit $36 an ounce in
early 2025. The most contested election in history is next month so why wait? Isn't it time to protect

On Wednesday Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody sued U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland
accusing him of violating the 10th amendment of the constitution by obstructing the state's
investigation into the September 15th assassination attempt of President Trump.
Moody alleges that the Department of Justice subsequently indicated in a letter that Florida
had to suspend its investigation citing a federal law governing the prosecution of crimes against
major public figures which has a section about federal officials superseding local or state
investigations until federal action is terminated. She argued that the law did not prevent state
officials from investigating such crimes and that it violated the 10th amendment. The amendment
prohibits the federal government from taking away the power of the states. Moody also pointed out
that when the state of Florida initiated the attempted assassination investigation the federal
prosecutor only filed a federal charge of unlawful possession of a firearm against the suspect in the
case not an attempted assassination charge. The federal charge of attempted assassination was
filed about a week later. Then Markenzie LaPointe the U.S. attorney for the southern district of
sent another letter to Moody asking the state to withdraw from the investigation until the federal
indictment is over. Moody wrote in conversations with federal officials and in subsequent
correspondence these officials have stated that Florida may not conduct its own investigation,
may not interview witnesses and may only cooperate with the federal government's investigation.
If the state waits to investigate then evidence disappears, memories fade and Florida has no way
to force the federal government to cooperate in the state's prosecution. Every day that Florida
is prevented from investigating the state's case becomes harder to prove at trial. After Moody sent
a letter to the DOJ in late September asking for cooperation Garland said that the agency would
spare no resources to ensure accountability in this matter and that prosecutors and agents were
working around the clock to discover the necessary evidence to ensure accountability.
President Trump is set to take on Joe Rogan tonight after a week of campaigning starting
off with his stint at McDonald's and including packed rallies in North Carolina, Florida,
Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona. Turning Point was hosted by Charlie Kirk and featured
Vivek Ramaswamy and Tucker Carlson on Wednesday and on Sunday President Trump will be at Madison
Square Garden in New York. Meanwhile with less than two weeks before the election Kamala Harris
joined CNN for a town hall meeting in Chester, Pennsylvania on Wednesday night.
Originally CNN was proposing that President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris have a second
presidential debate between them on this date but President Trump chose to not attend because
there's no point in another debate so close to the election. So it turned into a CNN town hall
meeting but how did she really do? Let's listen to CNN host Jake Tapper's comments.
There it seemed as though the voters were divided into three basic groups,
liberals who had not heard enough from her, progressives worried that she was not progressive
enough and republicans who are wary of Donald Trump and wanting to hear more from the vice
president. She focused a lot more on Donald Trump I think it's fair to say than she did on
many specifics in terms of what she would do as president but she did go into some of her plans
for small businesses and the like. Fox News made a statistic during the 90-minute CNN town hall.
Harris mentioned President Trump by name 26 times while President Trump was mentioned overall
by the moderator Anderson Cooper or audience members a total of 43 times. That means that
President Trump's name was mentioned every two minutes. CNN's Dana Bash thinks that strategy
won't work if Harris's goal is to win over moderate voters. Well I'll just tell you what
I'm hearing from people who I've been talking to and that is that if her goal was to close the
deal they're not sure she did that and you know some people have asked is she being held to a
different standard maybe but that's maybe the world that she's living in and on the question
of who she is people are understanding that a little bit more but what she will do the question
about her legislative priorities name one there wasn't one you know some more of her personality
and her sort of character questions about your weaknesses or what mistakes did you make not
necessarily the answers there. Veteran Democratic strategist and former senior advisor to Barack
Obama David Axelrod summed up Harris's performance in one short phrase word salad city. When she
doesn't want to answer a question her habit is to kind of go to world word salad city and she did
that on a couple of answers one was on Israel Anderson asked a direct question would you be
stronger on Israel than Trump. There was a seven minute answer but not none of it related to the
question he was asking. On immigration I thought she missed an opportunity because she would
acknowledge no concerns about any of the administration's policies. Sometimes you have to concede
things. Van Jones another prominent CNN commentator who served in the Obama administration
was equally unhappy with Harris's performance he thinks that there are some issues that simply do
not need to be avoided probably the most widely circulated clip on the internet was her comment
about President Trump's border wall. Is a border wall stupid? Well let's talk about Donald Trump
so remember Donald Trump said Mexico would pay for it? Come on they didn't. How much of that
wall did he build? I think the last number I saw is about two percent and then when it came time
for him to do a photo op you know where he did it? In the part of the wall that President Obama
built. But you're agreeing to a bill that would earmark 650 million dollars to continue building
that wall? I pledge that I am going to bring forward that bipartisan bill to further strengthen
and secure our border. Yes I am and I'm going to work across the aisle to pass a comprehensive bill
that deals with a broken immigration system. I think Jackson's question part of it was to
acknowledge that America has always had migration but there needs to be a legal process for it.
People have to earn it and that's the point that I think is the most important point that can be made
which is we need a president who is grounded in common sense and practical outcomes like let's
just fix this thing. Let's just fix it. Why is there any ideological perspective on it? Let's
just fix the problem. To fix the problem you're doing this compromise bill it does call for 650
million dollars that was earmarked under Trump to actually still go to build the wall. I'm not afraid
of good ideas where they occur. So you don't think it's stupid anymore? I think what he did and how
he did it was did not make much sense because he actually didn't do much of anything. I just
talked about that wall right we just talked about it he didn't actually do much of anything. But you
do want to build some wall. I want to strengthen our border. Border security is such a serious
issue that even MSNBC can't avoid it. Hey Jose yes well you know immigration is really one of
the most important issues in this campaign. President Donald Trump actually saying yesterday
that it might be more important than the economy. It has been a real challenge for the Biden
presidency. So I actually asked her right now she's defending the bipartisan bill that includes
more resources to secure the border even shutting down the border and closing loopholes around
asylum. But those are policies that President Trump defended when he was a president. So
I asked her on immigration has Donald Trump won the argument and this is what she said.
Right now we're talking about border security and there's nobody no democrat talking about
pathway to citizenship and immigration relief and the benefits that migrants bring to this country.
Oh but there's no question that migrants bring. America is a country that is was built in part
by immigrants. People are concerned about their TPS third DACA there. We're talking about mass
deportations. I'm not talking about. What do you stand on mass deportations? What's what's your
stand there? We need smart humane immigration policy in America that includes a pathway to
citizenship putting more resources at the border in terms of security. So bottom line Jose she
believes that we have a secure border and also an immigration relief but she mainly talks about
securing the border. But David Axelrod did praise Harris for what she did well. I think she was very
strong coming out of the gate. She was very strong on as she has been on abortion rights because she
feels passionately about it. She could be clinical on some of these economic issues. She was great on
the long-term care for the for for the elderly. Beyonce will be in Houston this evening to stump
for Kamala Harris. Her mother Tina Knowles will also be joined on stage by country music legend
Willie Nelson. The Harris campaign is mobilizing its minions in the final stretch of the election.
Rapper Eminem was already in Detroit on Tuesday with former president Barack Obama. Rock star
Bruce Springsteen will also be making several appearances including an event in Philadelphia
next Monday. In addition Liza and Usher stood in for Harris in Detroit and Atlanta. On the other
hand President Trump will sit down for an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan today on Spotify.
