Hey guys, in this video, I'm going to show you some places
where you can get paid to actually just categorize
and label content online.
So one place to check is called Toloka.
Toloka.ai is a place where they have a lot
of different AI-related jobs that you can get
where you usually work part-time
or just do something kind of as like a side hustle.
So when you go here, they have a particular page
that can be hard to find, but what they allow you to do here
is basically sign up as what they call a Toloker.
A Toloker is someone who basically does micro tasks here,
usually that have to do with improving AI.
So you see a few examples here
of like check chatbot responses, act as a mystery shopper,
find images with 12 plus markup and things like that.
They also have an app that you can download as well.
It's very highly rated with four out of five stars
and 10 million plus downloads.
It's totally free to sign up.
They actually include free training
that goes with the gigs that you find here.
You can pick the tasks that you wanna do
on either your PC or your mobile app.
And basically you just read the instructions
and complete the assignment.
So this is one of those things
where it's usually not gonna be an ongoing type of gig.
Like if you think of like jobs, part-time, full-time,
it's usually something you're doing on a regular basis
for the same job and you're getting paid by the hour.
Instead, with these, usually you get paid
by the task that you complete.
You're not getting paid by the hour.
It's something where basically how much you get paid
is gonna depend on the gig.
It's gonna depend on how long it takes you to get it done
and things like that.
So when it comes to what you're doing here,
if you scroll around here,
you'll see things like outline objects,
search for information, take photos, rate search results.
You have moderating content, transcribing audio,
categorizing content.
So for instance, what you would do is sort text
or images by quality, theme and other criteria.
Then they have some others as well,
but they have lots of different types of gigs
that you can do here.
So basically what they have you do
is once you sign up and everything,
you basically start doing these training tasks.
And then once you start doing these training tasks,
you can get access to the higher reward tasks,
which will pay you more money.
So obviously you're probably wondering,
well, how much can you actually make?
Well, one thing also to keep in mind
is they are very highly rated by people
who have worked here, so that's obviously a great sign.
Now, as far as how much you can earn,
typically sites like these have a very wide range of pay
because you're not necessarily getting paid by the hour,
you're getting paid by the task.
So different tasks will take different people
longer than others.
So some people are going to be faster
at certain tasks than others,
which means the slower you are,
usually the lower you're gonna get paid per hour
of your time.
So, and then also many different tasks
will have different pay ranges as well.
So if you look at say like an AI tutor,
20 to 37 an hour.
If you scroll down some more, expert AI trainer,
they say 51 to 87 an hour.
That seems a little bit high.
They said they made $66 an hour
because there's only one salary submitted.
Typically you just take the bottom number
since there's not really more than one person
to actually even have a range.
Freelancer, $35 an hour.
You also have some others like a search engine evaluator
and some others here.
But usually anything related to AI, freelance,
something like that is what you typically wanna look for
for reviews here of how much you could actually earn.
Next you have a company called Amazon Mechanical Turk.
This is a very similar website actually owned by Amazon
where you can join a global pool of talent,
basically where you get paid to do things like labeling data
and many other types of micro tasks.
So you can actually sign up with your existing Amazon account
if you already have one,
and they can also pay you in different ways,
including Amazon gift cards.
So they have a list of different types of gigs
that you can do here.
So for instance, you have image and video processing.
So you can do things like tagging different things
in a search engine or an advertisement.
You also have different areas where you're classifying
and identifying objects in different imagery.
You have removing duplicate content.
You have different types of data verification
and cleanup jobs.
You also have information gathering jobs here
where you are finding certain elements in a document
or writing content.
And then you also have data processing.
So this is where you see
that they have categorizing information
as part of the group of tasks
that you can get paid to do here.
Now, as far as how much you can get paid here,
as far as reviews for Amazon Mechanical Turk,
you can look up MTurk reviews on Amazon's profile
and they have a 3.1 out of five star rating so far
for MTurk specific reviews.
When you're looking up how much you could get paid,
if you look up MTurk worker
on the Glassdoor page for Amazon,
you'll notice that they have three people
who have left feedback,
averaging on an hourly basis, $22 per hour,
with a full range being something like 18 to $25 an hour.
Next, you have a company called Invisible Tech,
which is at invisible.co.
This is a company that, as you can see,
specializes in improving artificial intelligence.
And with this company,
they actually have gigs that you can find.
It's actually separate from their traditional careers page,
but they have these jobs where you can actually get paid
to be a trainer of AI data.
And for some of these,
you're gonna specialize in labeling
and categorizing information.
So with this one, basically a job like this,
they want you to basically,
they have the responsibilities down here.
They tell you that what you're going to do
is describe the audio clips
based on a list of characteristics and attribute categories
and write justifications to explain your reasoning.
So you're gonna be basically reviewing
these different types of audio files.
You're gonna categorize them.
You're gonna label them.
You're going to put different notes on each one
and based on a given criteria that they give you.
So with this, they do ask if you're passionate
about things like linguistics.
Do you have a natural inclination
for descriptive and nuanced writing?
Do you enjoy listening to audio content
and dissecting the details?
So that's some of the things
they might be looking for here.
They also want you to have certain system requirements
like a 20 Mbps download speed,
five Mbps upload speed as a minimum.
They also want you to have a microphone
with very clear audio.
Some other things you might need are a role requirements.
You have a professional,
you have professional English reading,
writing and excellent auditory comprehension,
have a mix of education and professional
or practicum based experience in speech pathology,
phonology, phonetics, et cetera.
And also be able to produce high quality data annotations.
And they do say you could be available up to 40 hours a week
so this is a job that's more of a full time type of thing
where you actually can get paid by the hour.
So if you want something that's a little different
from the other sites on this list,
that's more of an actual job,
you can check something like what they have at Invisible Tech
but they also want you to have strong attention
to detail, comfortably able to work from home,
curiosity for cutting edge AI technologies
and being a goal oriented person.
They say that this pays up to $24 per hour.
They also say that this at the very bottom
that work hours say that availability is flexible
and they want people usually to work 20 hours a week.
So it's unclear exactly are they wanting you to work
like a minimum of 20 hours a week
but prefer 40 hours a week.
That's kind of what it sounds like to me
but you can kind of take your own ideas
from that of what you believe.
But I believe they're kind of looking for something
like 20 to 40 hours a week.
And as far as what's like to work here,
they do have good ratings at four out of five stars.
Now we also have a company called Remote Task.
This is more similar to like MTurk
where basically you are a remote worker
who is part of a talent pool of taskers
that they say is 240,000 plus strong.
And you are basically joining this global community
and doing micro task type jobs.
So they do mention a few things here
of the types of tasks you're gonna do.
Labeling images, transcribing audio and things like that.
So learn easily, they do have online courses
and free training that is included with this.
You also will complete different tasks.
So again, it's usually by the task
how you get paid instead of by the hour.
And then you get paid weekly via PayPal or via Airtm
based on your quality and number of tasks completed.
And then they also have different levels of tasks here
that pay more or less depending on how difficult they are.
So obviously the lower difficulty tasks
will have the lowest pay
and then the highest difficulty will have higher pay.
You can work from anywhere, anytime.
All you need is a computer and internet
and you shouldn't have to use phones
or anything like that that would require you
to have like a quiet room or any of those types of things.
As far as what's like to work at Remote Task,
they have a 3.3 out of five star rating.
62% recommend working here to a friend.
As far as how much people say they earned here,
again, you can take this with a grain of salt
because this is another micro tasking site.
And typically the range of pay is very wide at these sites.
So Remote AI Trainer, the one with the most feedback
has $28 to $52 per hour.
AI Trainer, $36 to $66 per hour.
You also have some others like Tasker,
22 to 41, 17 to 30.
So you're seeing the low end could be in the teens.
It could be as low as maybe like 17 an hour.
On the high end, it could be very high
if any of these people were telling the truth.
So according to some people, it could be as high as 80.
Do we really believe it could be as high as 80?
It's hard to say.
It's really hard to say with these micro tasking sites
because the thing is,
even if you get paid $80 for an hour of work,
it is possible at these sites,
but that doesn't mean it's ongoing.
So it's your frame of mind with these sites
needs to be realistic.
Again, if you make $80 in an hour of work one day,
it might be quite a bit less the next day.
It's the nature of these types of websites,
but it can be used as a great side hustle
that doesn't really require you
to basically use these sites to pay the bills
because they're not always gonna be consistent.
