Hey guys, in this video I'm going to show you
some of the best work from home jobs
if you're a little bit on the lazy side.
So one job is called an AI editor.
An AI editor, also known as like a transcript editor
or transcription editor,
is something that can be found right now
at Daily Transcription.
This is a type of job where basically you are getting paid
to edit an automated transcript that is generated by AI.
So essentially, as long as you have decent grammar,
a lot of times this is a fairly easy type of job to do.
So you can go here.
This is just one example of a site where you can find these.
They are actually looking for someone right now.
You can see the little star that says this is a new listing.
They're seeking English level editors
who have excellent listening and typing skills
to edit AI generated transcripts.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail
and the ability to accurately edit a raw transcription
to deliver high quality transcripts.
They don't require too much for this.
They do require 10 to 30 hours a week.
They pay $60 to $90 per hour of material.
Again, that's not per hour of work.
So how much you make per hour may be dependent
on your skill level and how fast you are.
Experience level, one to two years,
which is also not too bad.
But other than that, this is a place
where they don't have too many requirements of you.
You'll just have to do things like insert time codes.
You'll have to basically edit these AI generated transcripts
and improve the grammar,
make everything kind of flow better.
And as far as what's like to work at daily transcription,
specifically 3.6 out of five stars.
Typically a transcript editor like that
would make something like,
if you were to break this down to an hourly rate,
it'd be something like $25, $27 an hour
in that ballpark on average,
with the high end being closer to maybe like $34 per hour.
Another type of job you might consider
if you're fairly lazy,
but you need something to pay the bills
is being a community manager.
Community manager is something that's fairly laid back.
It basically involves enforcing rules
in some sort of online community.
So for instance, if you've ever used Reddit,
think about like a moderator in Reddit.
And basically the type of thing that they do,
they make sure that the people posting
are following certain guidelines
and those types of things.
So one place to check for these jobs
is actually called Keyword Studios.
And they've been hiring all year for community managers.
They actually have all community managers
basically applying on the same application page.
So this has been open for a few months,
but they are actually accepting people all over the world.
So you can just disregard the location here
because they are accepting them all over the world.
They also tell you that right here.
It's not just the UK.
And they also say that they are filling multiple positions
in the field of community management,
social media management.
So if you've ever been interested in those,
you can check those out.
So responsibilities for a job like this
are to review all incoming community interactions.
This can be on social media.
You know, back when forums were more of a thing,
you could do this on like forums.
And basically you would communicate with players
usually via text form, kind of like chatting.
You respond to comments, player queries,
create engaging content for social media,
build reports and also basically report on player feedback,
help foster, maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
You have to moderate discussions and comments.
So you may have to remove people who are spamming
or basically remove posts that don't fit the guidelines.
Maybe somebody posted something
that's not supposed to be posted there.
That's kind of the stuff you're going to be doing.
So now this is going to vary in terms of
how much experience and all of that is required, of course.
Like at Keyword Studios, for instance,
they only require about two years of experience.
But again, depending on where you apply
for a community manager position, it will vary.
But usually they want you to have
some sort of understanding of like
different online communities,
usually involving social media.
You also have like Twitch and Discord,
anywhere where people gather to talk about something.
So Keyword Studios, because I mentioned them as an example,
they do have a really good score
from people as far as working here.
They have a 3.8 out of five star rating.
And they have an example of like a community manager
making somewhere around like 66,000 a year.
Normally I would use the full range,
but because there's only one salary submitted,
you basically just take this bottom number
because that's supposed to be the average.
And you have 66,000 a year,
which would be like $33 an hour,
$32 an hour, somewhere in that ballpark.
Another type of work you might consider
is data entry.
One place that usually has data entry related jobs
is a staffing company called Robert Half,
especially if you're in the United States.
If you type in data entry here,
you'll find that they usually have
a bunch of data entry jobs available.
You can also try and sort this by remote only.
So you just go here and click remote only, yes,
and then apply filter.
And then it will just show you the remote data entry job.
So now you have what is basically 28 results.
So you still have quite a few.
Some of these will not be exactly the type of data entry
that you may be looking for, like data entry clerk.
Some of the others might involve data entry,
but are a more extensive job
where you have a lot of other responsibilities as well,
like for instance, accounting or something like that.
So for instance, just as an example here,
you could make say like $23 an hour
being a data entry clerk here.
Now, because they're a staffing agency,
they have many different businesses.
Different businesses have different requirements
in terms of what you have to do,
but responsibilities for this one,
just to give you an example, you'll utilize a CRM.
You'll identify and merge duplicate records,
handle the processing of different types of direct mail
and online gifts using different tools,
process various forms of gifts, including checks,
wire stocks, and foreign currency.
You'll enter pledges, process them for finance approval.
So you're working with a company
that deals with different types of gifts apparently.
So you have requirements here.
Again, this is going to vary by the company.
Usually data entry jobs don't require much experience.
It's usually like zero to five years.
I would say most of the time it's zero to one
or zero to two years of experience.
And sometimes they do want you
to have a word per minute typing speed
of maybe like 50 words per minute.
And a lot of times they will also mention
that you need to be good with Microsoft Excel
or Google Sheets because that is obviously
the spreadsheet service that they use.
A lot of data entry involves spreadsheets.
So if you were to look at Robert Half,
they have a 3.7 out of five star rating,
70% recommend working here to a friend.
And they already tell you upfront
how much each one of these jobs pays,
but usually it's not going to be over like 25 or 30 an hour.
Next you have a company called Go Transcript.
This is a very easy type of job as well.
It's very laid back.
You're not really having to deal
with customers or sell anything.
Go Transcript is a place
where you can actually do a transcription services.
And again, as you could see on the homepage,
they still specialize in human made transcripts.
So when you go to become a transcriptionist here,
you're usually going to be like a freelancer
or an independent contractor.
Many different websites like this one
require you to be like a contractor
because they don't want to pay benefits.
They don't want to pay,
they don't want to have to deal with withholding taxes
and pay a certain minimum wage or anything like that.
So what they do is they pay you as a freelancer
or an independent contractor.
There are many different sites out there for transcription,
but Go Transcript is one
where they actually allow you to apply worldwide.
They pay up to 60 cents per audio or video minute.
So the amount of money you actually get paid per minute
or per hour is going to depend on your speed
and your accuracy.
So everybody might get paid a little bit differently
per hour of work.
Average earnings per month,
usually it's only a few hundred dollars
on a lot of these sites
because a lot of people don't really work these all the time.
It's usually used as like a side hustle
and then top monthly earners might make, you know,
a thousand or 2000 a month on the side.
So what they will do is basically verify your identity here
and you also will get paid weekly via PayPal.
You can work wherever and whenever you want.
There's no requirement to be on the phone.
So you don't have to worry
about having a quiet work environment necessarily.
And they also allow you to work whenever you want
as long as you get the project done
when it's supposed to be done.
They also tell you that they have a variety
of transcription work here.
Some companies do, some companies don't,
but with them, they have police investigations,
book research, and all sorts of different things in between.
They also have many different languages here,
which is something that I've found
to be kind of unique to Go Transcript.
Many companies only do English transcription jobs.
As far as what's like to work here,
they have a 3.9 out of five star rating
and 91% of people recommend working here to a friend.
They have very good reviews here.
Now, transcription is not known
for being a very high paying job,
but if you're looking for something as a lazy person,
you should probably know upfront
that most jobs for lazy people are not super high paying.
But that being said, you see the range of pay here
for most of these is somewhere between like 15 and $30
an hour.
Another very easy and lazy type of job,
depending on the job, is a virtual assistant.
So if you're a virtual assistant,
sometimes you may be pretty busy,
but there are other times when a virtual assistant,
especially if you're working as part of like a pool
of other assistants,
and you're just kind of doing this part time,
this can be a fairly laid back type of job
where basically you don't have to have a lot
of special skills to do what you need to do.
Fancy Hands is one of the best examples of one
where you can be a virtual assistant as a side hustle
and not have the pressure of having to do every little thing
for an executive or an entrepreneur all the time every day.
So with this, you can just kind of work
whenever you have the time.
You can set your schedule the way you want.
If you want to work at night, great.
If you want to work early morning
or in the middle of the day, that's great as well.
Mainly you need a fast internet connection
and it really suits people that are good
at being just a jack of all trades.
So if you're someone who has just basically,
you know, been through life for a certain amount of time
and you know how to manage day-to-day life pretty well,
like for instance, managing a calendar,
managing appointments, scheduling things, research,
tracking down hotel prices, data entry, and things like that.
That's the type of work you're doing here.
Just basic day-to-day life stuff that executives
and high performers just don't have time to do on their own.
So it's basically going to require you
to have good written communication,
good computer and internet,
as well as being a self-starter.
And again, it's really best for someone
who's kind of just a jack of all trades.
The pay here is $3 to $7 per task.
So how much you get paid per hour,
it's hard to tell you exactly.
We're gonna look at some reviews,
but payments go out every other week on Tuesday.
They also encourage people to work weird hours here
because they want people available 24 hours a day.
They have a 3.3 out of five star rating.
And again, there are other companies out there
that have virtual assistant jobs.
The thing about Fancy Hands that made me wanna pick them
for this video is the fact that they allow you
to kind of get paid by the task.
They don't have a lot of requirements
and they allow you to be more flexible.
But virtual assistants here,
you do have a few different reviews
that have different pay ranges.
It may vary quite a bit,
but you look at the range of being as low
as something like $16 an hour or $15 an hour.
If you look at the high end, depending on who you ask,
you're looking at closer to the 30s,
maybe the 40s in some scenarios.
So that's basically what people were saying
about how much the range of pay would be at Fancy Hands.
It is obviously a pretty wide range.
Another company and another type of job you can do
if you're fairly lazy is it's kind of like data entry,
but it's different.
It's actually a medical scribe.
Medical scribe positions can be in person or at home.
If you do the ones at home,
I think that's one of the easiest types of jobs
you could probably do.
It's not gonna be super high paying.
These usually go $10 to $15 an hour,
but it's great to do
if you're looking for something part-time.
So Scribe America is one place
that always has a lot of these types of opportunities.
That's why I like to use them as a go-to example
for these types of jobs.
If you go to remote only, you click yes,
you will see only remote medical scribe
and other remote jobs on here.
So sometimes they make you apply
based on the state you live in.
That's one thing they've been doing lately
instead of just having everybody apply on the same page.
So if you just click on one of these,
I'm just gonna click on a random state page here.
This one's for Wyoming,
but you don't have to be only in Wyoming.
They have one for a lot of different states.
So again, $10 to $15 per hour,
they tell you that right there.
Mainly what you need to see here
is that you need to be able to do data entry here,
input information into a database.
They want you to commit up to one year,
flexible enough to work two shifts per week,
and be able to type 50 words per minute.
And as far as the medical scribe job description,
again, you are basically doing data entry,
inputting patient history, physical exams,
assessments, diagnostic results, medical procedures,
and other information into basically a patient's database.
So you will facilitate,
you will navigate the facility computer system
and electronic medical record to do all this.
And that's essentially your job.
You're kind of like doing the data entry side of things
for physicians.
So as far as what's like to work here,
a three out of five star rating.
And again, they already tell you it's 10 to 15 an hour.
Another type of job you can do
is chat and email based support.
So there are a lot of different companies
that I've covered on other YouTube channel videos
and other blog posts where I talk about
all the different types of chat and email support companies
and different jobs when they are available.
If you just keep track of either my website
or this YouTube channel,
you will definitely see me constantly putting out updates
when these jobs are available,
because they are popular.
Because you're staying away from the phones.
Nobody likes to be on phones with customers all day.
So Zapier is one place that actually pays very well
for customer support jobs.
And they also do pretty much exclusively
chat and email based support.
So this is one where if you're looking
for those types of jobs,
I will usually let you know when they're hiring
for those jobs.
And also you might wanna just bookmark them
in the future for these,
because they actually have really good benefits here.
They have competitive pay,
some wellness benefits, personal growth benefits.
You have some others as well.
They actually have on a separate page now.
Many different bonuses.
You have benefits and perks like healthcare,
retirement plans,
work from just about anywhere in the world,
flexible time off policy, anniversary rewards.
You have all sorts of different budgets
that they give you in equity in the company as well.
As far as like if they have an example
of a job like this right now,
you wanna go to the support section.
They do have a technical support specialist
available right now.
It's not in the US and it's not necessarily worldwide.
It looks like this one is mostly in Australia, New Zealand.
This is an example of like a little bit higher tier version
of a customer support job is technical support.
So it's usually a little bit more difficult,
but this is a company you might wanna just check out
every once in a while.
And one thing that they tell you about their support jobs
is they want you to love writing.
So if you are interested in doing chat
and email based support,
find a company that mainly does written communication.
And with this one,
not only do you do written communication with customers,
but you do it with your teammates as well.
So that's a nice thing about them.
And they tell you right here
that you're gonna help people via email or chat.
So with this one,
they basically do a lot of the same things
as a regular customer support job.
Maybe you have a few other things as well
because it's technically technical support,
but they pay very well.
Most technical support jobs are not gonna pay
as much as they pay you here.
Now, if you were to actually look at how much they pay you
in American dollars,
usually, I don't know if this is going to be exact same
if you were to look at how much these pay
in American dollars.
It looks like the same symbol,
but as far as what they usually pay,
it's usually something like 88,000 a year or so
for a typical customer support job on average.
3.7 out of five stars is their review rating here.
If you go to their salaries,
this is going to mostly show you US-based averages,
but you're looking for the customer champion.
So customer champion here, you have 15 people.
They said that, yes,
the average is something like $87,000 a year.
It could be anywhere from 65 to 122,000 a year.
And as you can see,
if you were to get a senior level technical support job,
it could possibly be more than that.
That is if that's actually in US dollars.
But as far as a high paying company for customer support
that does chat and email support,
it's going to be really hard to beat these numbers.
Also, if you are actually good at a certain academic subject
but you want to just make a little extra money on the side
that you don't want to have to put too much effort into it,
study pool could be something you might want to look at.
They have a tutoring section here
where you can get paid around the world to become a tutor.
And when I say tutor,
it's not like you're doing tutoring sessions
where it's like an hour long session
and you're trying to teach them as much as you can
in that hour.
It's really by the question.
So each tutoring session is one time per question base
is what they will tell you,
which basically means each question you answer,
that's the tutoring session with the student.
So all you have to do is answer the question.
Once a question is answered,
you get paid and you move on to other questions
or go do something else.
Top earners have made as much as $7,500 in a month,
but that's just top earners.
Don't expect to always make that.
Lowest service fees are starting at 20%.
That means you keep about 80% or so of what you get paid.
They also have full flexibility here
to work when and where you want.
So what you're going to do,
you're going to answer questions,
usually homework related questions
for like high school or college level subjects
and basically give a full explanation and answer.
And it's going to be in text form.
That's one reason why I think this is great for lazy people
is because it's,
you're basically sending chat messages doing that.
So they have,
it looks like they've actually updated
some of these highest earners.
They've updated some,
looks like maybe some of these recent questions
have been updated.
Not entirely sure,
but they have a lot of times the,
a wide range in pay for each question,
depending on the subject.
For instance,
you'll have some engineering questions
and they might pay like 40 bucks
or you might have an easy question about like calculus,
like which is just,
maybe it's a math problem or something like that.
So you can answer questions.
They accept tutors all over the world.
They have all sorts of different subjects
that you can do this in.
As far as reviews,
they have a four out of five star rating.
As far as salaries and how much you can make per hour.
Again,
they tell you how much you could possibly earn in a month,
but as far as how much you can earn in an hour,
they have tutors averaging 13 to 24,
11 to 19,
15 to 27.
Some top tutors say up to $41 an hour.
You can also check out something like a moderator,
which is very similar to like a community manager.
I showed you earlier.
A community manager can be a little bit different though.
Moderation is just kind of one part
of what a community manager does at times.
But a moderator,
you're just basically enforcing guidelines
and enforcing rules in some sort of community.
A lot of times they would have moderators again in Reddit.
Like if you've ever used Reddit,
they have subreddits and each major subreddit
has moderators that basically make sure
everything is running smoothly.
They get rid of the bad actors
and remove the posts that don't meet guidelines
and sometimes even ban people.
But if you go here,
they have their traditional careers page.
You have all sorts of different types of careers on here.
But if you want to do just like the easiest job possible,
just go to become a mod and sign up as a contractor.
And then you can get paid to basically work
from a lot of different countries around the world.
They have people all over the place
speaking different languages.
And basically you can do anything
from answering phone calls,
texting with customers,
moderating posts on forums and reviews,
and also monitoring images, videos, or live streams.
Also even chatting in game or play testing a game.
So those are the types of things you could do here.
You get to set your own schedule, pick your own projects.
And a lot of people do this as something part-time
outside of their day job.
So Modscog could be a great place to find something
for something that's not gonna be a lot of stress.
3.2 out of five rating.
And as far as how much moderators actually earn here,
a moderator can average something like 17 to 25 an hour.
A mod contractor, 17 to 24, 15 to 24.
They're all fairly consistent here actually
as far as how much moderators say they make here.
So last but not least,
we have something called Telus Digital,
which used to be called Telus International.
This is a place where you can find all sorts
of different really easy types of jobs
that you can get without an interview.
They also hire all around the world.
One great example is an online data analyst.
You can see that they have these all over the world
in many different countries.
I'm just gonna use one as an example.
So for instance, if you look at this one here
in the United States,
they do want you to be a Spanish speaker,
but that's not always the case.
They will have a lot of variants in these jobs
in terms of country and also language.
But for this one,
just as an example of what this could look like,
you would be a freelancer.
And for this, what you would do is help improve
the content and quality of digital maps,
which are used by millions of people globally.
The job is to someone who is detail oriented,
likes doing research,
and has knowledge of national or local geography.
Notice how they don't say worldwide geography
or international geography.
You don't have to know the whole world.
You just need to know basically
your country's geography fairly well.
Full professional proficiency in your language.
You need to also live in the country you're applying in
for the last two consecutive years.
You need to have decent computer skills,
and that's really about it.
They don't mention you have to have experience.
They don't mention you have to have a degree
or even high school level education.
Now they do mention that you have to pass
an open book assessment before you start working.
And this is a long-term project
where you will have work occasionally
subject to quality assurance checks.
So they don't mention pay upfront always.
Sometimes these are lower paying,
and some reviews will tell you it's higher paying,
depending on who you ask.
3.6 out of five is far as what it's like to work here.
As far as what people say you could earn here,
if you look at online data analysts down here
and you look at the averages,
13 salaries submitted, 53 to 89,000 a year.
So you're looking at possibly the low 40s on the high end.
If these reviews are correct on the low end,
you're looking at something closer to 25.
So hopefully this was helpful.
