Beseno Castle, located in Italy's Trentino region, is the largest feudal fortress in the area and a striking example of medieval military architecture. Encircled by two massive elliptical walls stretching 250 meters in length and 55 meters in width, the castle commands a dominant view of the Adige Valley. The first written records of the castle date back to the 12th century, when it belonged to the Counts of Appiano and served as the residence of the aristocratic Da Beseno family. Over the centuries, the fortress played a key defensive role in regional conflicts, particularly during the 15th century.
