Intro to Road Life | Living in my 4th Gen Toyota 4Runner

This is the beginning of my real life story. But it's not actually the beginning, it's just the beginning for you. The beginning of my real life story started 8 months ago in May of 2022. Long story short, the last 8 months have been some of the best and worst times of my life. From seeing two of my best friends get married, countless nights in the mountains with friends, to my 4runner getting broken into and all my hard drives stolen, it's been a wild ride. Despite the chaos, I've found a lot of solace in the routine of road life. The serenity from doing mundane things in these wild places is hard to describe. Through all of this, something was missing though. My passion to document my life mostly lives through photos and my photography career. But I kept thinking to myself, who doesn't love a good video? So I'm going to tell my story through videos now. I'm not any good, at least not yet, but if I'm making a video this year, I hope to get somewhere I can be proud of. I don't really have an end goal in mind, just a general direction and a sense of adventure. That's why I'm telling this story, not quite at the beginning. The story of my road life journey, which for you, begins right here, in the middle of Death Valley. Three days next to some of the most beautiful dunes in the world, and I'm ready to hit the road. Off to another destination. Luckily for me, it's not too far away. One of the things I'm slowly learning to love with this way of life, is the pacing of it all. And with that, I'll see you next week. Peace.
