Okay ladies, I'm back. Um, I know this is not all scrapbooking related, but I just wanted to, you know, show you guys a little bit of what I was doing and some of my eBay madness.
So, I wanted to, this is the second video from part one, I just wanted to show you the, the, in the bags of jewelry that I had to buy from my eBay store, um, the things that stuck out to me that I really liked.
Um, okay, there are these clip on earrings, now I don't think this stone is original because I've never seen a pair of rhinestone earrings that had like a jade type bead in it, but I thought they were cool.
Someone had a cute little idea trying to alter or fix those.
Then, this pendant that I really like. It's not signed or anything, but I think stuff was just made with such care and such beauty then.
And did you know that vintage, well it is vintage now, but costume jewelry back in the day, especially in like the depression when nobody could afford it, it was made to be thrown away.
You just wear it once and throw it away. It was like a paper plate. So, I can only imagine how many were thrown in the garbage. How many pieces. I thought this little bear was cute.
Okay, then there is these few little brooches. I think the person that she, well I guess she goes to auctions and wins the auctions.
And um, this person liked green.
And I don't believe these are signed, but it doesn't mean that they're not made by a good jewelry maker. It's just sometimes they don't sign their jewelry.
Okay, I thought this was really neat. It has dried flowers on the inside. Sorry for that glare.
And it can be a brooch or a pendant. And the back, you see that? It's like velvet. It's fuzzy.
Okay, then there is just these cute little adorable little shoes or moccasins. I think that's maybe the name.
But they're beaded. You can tell they're handmade. I just thought that was pretty cute.
Then I like this tiny little pendant. Looks like it has some coral-like stuff in it. That's not signed either, but it's a really cute little piece.
Then she throws little baggies like this in there.
And these, oh it's hurting my back sitting like this. Let's zoom in a little bit.
These, like this. Let's see if I can get it open.
With the teeth there, those are fur clips. The ladies would clip them to their fur that they would wear when they have teeth like that.
This is the same fur clip. And that's another fur clip.
And so is that. But this one is signed right here. It says, I don't know if you would pronounce that Cooty or Cody, but it's C-O-O-D-Y.
That's that. Let me try to zoom you out now. Oops.
Then there is this, it's so adorable. I love bracelets. But in Florida, when you get all sweaty and gross, they just make you feel dirty.
So I don't wear them too, too much anymore. I used to endure it, but I can't.
Okay, this is a bunch of leaves made to be, it's a clamper bracelet.
And it's signed in here by the Whiting and Davis Co. So I thought that was a good find.
Then this pendant necklace was in there. And it's missing a little white bead right here.
And it's an old Avon necklace. Signed Avon right in the middle.
But that was nice too.
Oh, let me try to move my legs here. Oh my goodness. Okay.
Then there is this. It's another fur clip. See, it has the teeth.
All those pretty green stones.
This little girl, or woman, in a shoe with a paddle. Pretty interesting.
That's another one of the scatter pins.
I thought this was really pretty. It's enamel paint.
It's an old brooch.
These are really nice. It has all their stones.
These are more fur clips.
And they are signed.
So, those are going to go up there.
Then, I'll show you this.
This is a brooch and a pair of earrings. It's a set.
Now, this brooch is really old.
You see how far this sticks out past the brooch.
Except that's bent the other way.
That definitely tells you...
Oh, wait a minute. Okay, never mind.
The brooch was bent.
I was going to say that it will tell you it's aged.
Because a lot of older brooches, like antique.
You know, 50 years and older is antique.
A lot of older ones, they stick way out past.
So, this one just happened to be, this bow was bent.
So, that's just regular brooch.
Okay, and this was an earring, but it doesn't have it's mate.
So, it just has pretty rhinestones.
And those are the earrings to that brooch.
Then, there is this real chunky, funky bracelet.
It does have some wear, some glue right there, residue.
And I'm sure some of the beads are missing.
Or else she wouldn't have thrown it in the bag, I don't think.
Oh, well. It's mine. Got it.
Then, there is some sewing things in there.
There is a bag of old turquoise looking stones.
I'm sure they're probably not turquoise, but they're in there.
There was this big bag of all this Mother of Pearl.
But they're like flat on one side.
So, how cool would these be for like centers?
Or just decorations, you know?
I don't think, maybe they're not Mother of Pearl.
They feel plastic.
But, I thought that was cool.
I was like, oh, that's a good find.
Then, there was all of these bags of old buttons.
And they're all separated by colors.
There's like cream, orange-y colors.
And then these, this is a bag of like flat, like cameo stones.
See, they're stones.
For jewelry making.
And then, oh, I loved this find.
Look at these old hat pins.
Came just like this in the bag.
She didn't want them.
How pretty are those?
Antique hat pins.
Then, I found a couple of glass beaded necklaces.
Really pretty.
Then, I don't like this.
I wouldn't wear it, but I certainly would take it apart.
And use the beads.
So, that's just the big, chunky bracelet.
This, I love.
Look at this.
This old perfume bottle.
How ornate and beautiful.
Craftsmanship for this stuff is amazing.
And this is an old men's cologne.
Except, it came apart, so I got to glue that back on.
Okay, one more little thing.
I like this big, chunky piece of jewelry.
I don't know if you'd be able to find these type of findings,
but maybe some jump rings.
Add some chain.
That would be awesome.
Like tiger in the middle.
Okay, guys.
I'm probably getting pretty close.
I just wanted to show you some of my eBay finds.
I have a bunch of more jewelry in the bags,
but these were the things that caught my eye first.
And I just wanted to share them with you.
Let me know what you think,
or if you know anything about some of these pieces,
or anything.
So, you guys have a good afternoon,
and I hope to talk to you guys soon.
Alright, bye-bye.
