Hi everybody, it's Sandra. Thank you so much for coming to my video today. We're going to be having
a look at some stuff that I bought recently. I have a couple of things from some auctions,
some thrift store finds, and so on. So let me know if you want to buy anything. Please reach
out to me at iamthefunkypickle at gmail.com. Let me know what you think below. Please consider
subscribing to this channel. I would so much appreciate it. I'll be right back. Most of this
stuff I just got today and some stuff I got yesterday. Not this though. So I got these
fun earrings from Express. I'm going to keep these because I love them. They're very shimmery.
These are very me. I like the movement. Those are fun. So I'm going to keep these.
And then I got this. This is an interesting item. It's by DeLinks or D-link or D-link-Q.
I don't know how to say that. I'm not sure, but I have seen these before.
And so you get the different links on it, I guess. So this is obviously someone from New York City.
There's the Twin Towers, Little Tiger's Eye, New York Police Department, 9-11,
and there's the Big Apple, the Mets, a very nice cross. It's pretty cool. The Statue of Liberty,
the firefighter one, and this seems to be a little janky right here. I don't know what's
going on with this thing. I'll have to, I'll have to take a look at that. It's some...
Well, I'll see, I'll see about that one. I'm not sure, but I'll probably sell this one on
my eBay page if I can figure out why it's doing that weird thing. Oh, now this is doing it. All
right. I know there's a way easily to take these on and off, so I'll figure that out.
Some cool ones on here though. And I did get some sterling. Let's take a look at this.
How pretty is this little, little cross? I've had this exact one before. It is sterling. It's on
a sterling chain. Oh, how pretty are you? A little Marcosite in the center. I'm guessing that center,
I mean not the center, but the blue stones are, uh, glass probably. Isn't it pretty?
And it is marked here. That was kind of quick. Hopefully you saw that. Let me measure the chain.
This is on an 18 inch sterling chain. This is a small cross, but it certainly has a lot of dazzle.
This is pretty. This is very short, and there are some Marcosites.
It's a necklace or a choker, I guess. It is marked 925. I'll guarantee if I say it's 925 that it is.
I'll test things before I mail them out, because of course you can buy something that says 925 and
then find out it isn't. Let me give this a quick measure. It's pretty, right? I didn't see any
missing stones. It's about 16 inches long. This isn't vintage or anything, but it has that look
to it. But it is a newer piece. A lot of silver on it, too. Pretty. And next, we have this cute
anklet. It says 925 right here. There it is. You can check it with our magnet real fast. If it sticks
to the magnet, that means it is not silver. Sometimes the little connectors might have some...
might be picked up by the magnet, like that, for example, because the spring that is inside of here
is magnetic. Anyway, let me give it a measure. This measures about nine and a half inches long or so.
Cute sterling silver anklet. And I believe this one is a bracelet.
Look how cool this one is. It's light and airy. And this one, too, says 925 somewhere. Oh,
okay. Oh, look at that. It's a...yeah, it's that. The thing I can't think of right now.
Let me measure it. I will put on the screen what that name is because I can't think of it,
but I do know what it is. I've sold it many times. This is about 10 inches long, so apparently
this is another anklet, but I don't see any reason you couldn't take this apart and make it
into a bracelet if you wanted to. That is fun and swirly. And I got this, and this one says
that it is 14 karat gold. It was $45 somewhere or other. I...I'm not sure.
Um, let me take a closer look. I think this label tells lies. I think this is just plated.
I could be wrong. Maybe that's just dirt in there, but I'm not so sure. I think this one
is gold plated. The pearls are real. Let me measure it. This measures about seven inches long.
It's very pretty in any event. The only mark I see in this ring is 925. I like the bezel setting.
I really like the design of it, too. It's another one that has an airy design.
It's about a size 6. It is slightly misshapen. I mean, not...not bad. Let me just point that out.
I like how flat it is. It's pretty. I think you can get a better idea when it's on the hand.
Nice. Here's a fun ring that I got somewhere. I don't think this one is old,
but I definitely like it. I think it's groovadelic. About a size 7.
It's interesting, I think. I like the shape of it. Cool color, too. And I got this oddball
necklace. Obviously not real silver or anything. It's very fun. I see some corrosion on the
chain part, but you can certainly just take the chain off. Mild handling where I would say
no mark. I thought that one was pretty fun. And hey, how about this one? This one's cool.
This is another one. This chain also has some sort of corrosion on it,
but look at that pendant. Look at the snake. I guess that's Nefertiti. It seems like it's pewter.
Not sure. It certainly is pewter color. That one's different. Hey, I have a question for you
guys. Does anybody know what this is? I think this is old. That seems like it might be real
silver. It says Germany on it. It opens like so. The only thing I could think of, uh, you might
laugh, but is this like to hold a monocle or something? I don't know. I'm not sure what you
could put in there. It's very flat. Well, anyway, if you know, tell me. I'm just curious.
I think it's, it's a cool item. Just don't know what it is. How sweet is this? I recognized it
right away as being the rose from Beauty and the Beast. And it's really pretty when it's lit up.
Let me turn this light off and show you what I mean.
It's all different colors. Isn't that pretty? Just a single rose. I mean, I think it's still
nice even if you didn't know about the Beauty and the Beast tie-in. I don't know if there's
another setting. Nope. Okay. Okay. It's just on and off. I was wondering if there was a setting
to make that white. Isn't this pretty? I was thinking this might sell on my eBay page. I'm
not sure. I'll have to, I'll have to look it up. I haven't done so yet. I love it though. If this
doesn't sell, I'm going to keep it. It's pretty, right? This beautiful sterling silver bracelet,
for charms or not, measures about seven inches around the inside. It's really nice that it has
that safety chain. There's the mark, sterling. This one might be from the 50s or 60s, kind of
heyday of the charm bracelet, although I still love charm bracelets. This has some nice weight to
it. Let's put it on the wrist. Isn't that lovely? It's quite wide too. To me, it works alone without
the charms, but it would also look awesome with charms. I got this today. Who else thinks that
Ronald McDonald is terrifying? I don't even think they use him anymore, right? I'm thinking this
might have been a Happy Meal thing, 1995. It's kind of like a ca-single, I guess. I don't think it's very
very long. Scary sound effects. I like to scare myself. Sound effects for you to use. Anyway,
so I got this because I thought maybe it would be worth something, but it turns out it's not,
so I have to throw this away immediately because I don't want him in my home.
Clowns are kind of creepy, right? Here's a cool copper bracelet. I love that.
Not signed, interestingly, and this one is about seven and a half inches long.
It kind of looks like bamboo or something. Check it out from the side. Let's put this one on our
wrist. What do you think about this one? I think it's neat. It certainly is a statement piece.
It's nice and wide. This one is probably from the 60s, I would think. It's mod. Nice.
How sweet is this necklace? That is porcelain. Look at the roses. This is just on a
a costume jewelry chain. I love this, though. It's in nice condition, too.
That is darling. Let's put it on the neck. It is certainly romantic, isn't it?
That one's really different. How pretty is this sterling silver necklace?
I love the prongs on this one, and the chain is also sterling. It's about 14 inches long or so.
Very easy to switch out. It's a very pretty piece of glass.
Now the bail says 925RK, so if I can figure out who that is, I'll put it on the screen.
I love that. Cool piece. This pretty necklace has about a nine inch drop or so.
Now it seems like this would be adjustable, but it actually isn't. It does just stay in place.
It's not like a slider thing. This is very elegant. I love the rope, too. A lot of girly
ones today, right? That one's very feminine and dressy. This necklace measures from like 14 inches
to 17 inches. The flowers are plastic. I think these beads are plastic. This isn't couture.
This is a newer piece. More of a a budget piece, I guess you would say. It has a little bit of wear,
but it's really pretty on. Check this out. See what I mean? I think it looks really nice on.
Love it. This necklace has about a 17 and a half inch drop. This is really a cool piece.
Lots and lots of stuff going on. I'm surprised it's not designer signed, but it isn't.
This one has been worn before. It's not terrible or anything, but this one has some a little bit
of uh handling wear. I'm gonna have to hold this because it's too long for this. Hopefully you can
get an idea. Lots of different colors. Let me try to lay it out. That's a neat one. This necklace
has about a 10 and a half inch drop. The glass beads are so pretty. I think these are Murano.
They're beautiful. There's a barrel clasp. I think this one is so pretty. I love the shade
of purple. Each bead is so different. Look at these spacers too. The spacers are cool.
They're a little bit like spaceships. How cute is this little rice pearl bracelet?
This is only between five and six inches long. I don't know if it's for a little girl
or just somebody with a small wrist. It's very sweet. I showed this ring once before. I think
this is from the 20s. It's sterling. Look at it from the side. Wow. This is quite a beauty. There
are a couple of marker sites missing. I think you would certainly see it when you're wearing it.
Look at the detailing in the back. I love the way it's put together.
Interesting stone or art glass, I guess. It is small. I don't know if it could be made bigger.
I mean, well, it could be made bigger, but I don't know how much of the sides you could
save. Oh, it is quite small, isn't it? Three and a half. Oh, it's so lovely though.
Sterling silver. You know, it's an awesome oldie. This pretty necklace has about an eight inch drop.
Let me just fix this tassel. I love jewelry with tassels. This is a nice vintage piece.
Now, only one side slides. I don't know if that's how it's supposed to be or not.
That is fabulous. It doesn't say so, but it does seem like it is gold filled.
And so one of these, one of these you can move. Well, let me, let me try to do it. I need two
hands here. Let me see. I just did it. Okay, I'll make this one much, much shorter. Well,
not much, much, but somewhat shorter. This one may be antique too. It's beautiful. Let me
fix this tassel now. It's too short. I don't like it that short.
This is fab. Of course, this is referred to as a negligee necklace because it has the two dangles
and one is longer than the other one. Gorgeous. This necklace has about a 14 inch drop.
This is truly special. Check that out. This one is a crown trefari. This isn't a common one.
This isn't one you see all the time. There's the crown over the T.
They decided to make that part of their logo because they had a very, very popular crown
jewelry line. Check this out. I've never seen this one before. I really love the color of the
stones too. They're kind of like a, like a gray that just goes a little bit into the green,
just a tinge. Well, anyway, this the right way, but that is awesome. How about this cute little
guy? Oh no. I was going to say his junk isn't showing, but it is. Oh boy. Yeah. Alva Studios.
This is a repro of an old, old item, an Incan item or an ancient item. He's adorable. A little bit of
lost to the gold on his nose and maybe his knees a little bit too. It's a great brooch. Fun. Check
out this weird link. I really like pitcher jewelry. I also like basket of flower. Well, I like all
jewelry actually, if we're being honest, but this is pretty cool with the eyes. Well, there's two eyes
actually, and that's to keep bad things away. It's called the evil eye. This has been around for
centuries. This is gold tone. It's a pendant. As you can see, let me just verify that those eyes
are glass. They look like they are, right? Let me check it out. They are glass. That's a fun piece.
Here's the last piece that I have for today. This is a cool color. I like this color.
Trying to see what's going on there. I guess it was just painted kind of
sloppy or something. There's a little bit of discoloration. Nothing bad. I don't think it
would show from a distance. I love critter jewelry. I love bugs. Well, I don't love bugs, but I love bug
jewelry. Ain't he cute? I love the color. That's all I have time for this time around. I'd like to
thank you kindly, as always, for coming to my video. Let me know what you think below. Reach
out if you want to buy anything at IamtheFunkyPickle at gmail.com. I hope to see you on the next one.
Be well until then, everybody. Bye-bye.
