Brand new 10 point TRX 515.
Let's check it out.
All right, so I'm gonna show you
how we get this thing fully cocked and ready to shoot.
And here we go.
All right, so there is a little lever on the back here,
right there, and we wanna push that
and then slide this down through here.
And it just clips on like so.
We got the crank handle is attached right here.
We'll just pull that off.
Then we will just crank it on up
till it clicks and you're good.
You take a couple turns out.
Now we are all set to go here.
Before we shoot or anything,
let's actually get some measurements.
So it's supposed to be six inches axle to axle.
See what we get.
Axle to axle, we're looking at like six and three eighths.
Well, front to back on this thing, it's supposed to be 29.
29, so good.
Let's get this bolt in here.
So white vane down here, odd vane down.
And it goes through the front here.
Got some ball bearing roller rust.
It kind of has a feature where it snaps in,
kind of like the Ravens, but not as hard.
So it holds the bolt in a little bit better
than the previous model 10 points.
Safety is ambidextrous.
So it is on both sides there.
All right, we're gonna shoot through the Garmin chronograph
here and see what we get.
That would probably help.
489.5, let's give it another shot and see what we get.
All right, shot number two, let's see what we get here.
Feed it through the front.
So it's on those rollers, just kind of snaps in there.
All right, second shot, see what we've got.
So we got 489 and a half on the first shot, 488.8.
So yeah, close to, you know, 490.
The TRX515, it's supposed to shoot 515,
but with the bolts that it comes with,
yeah, we were getting 490 just about.
So it was a six inches axle to axle,
just slightly over six inches axle to axle and fully cocked
29 inches from front to back,
kind of going after that Raven R29X.
So they're saying 7.2 pounds without any accessories on it.
Let's actually weigh it real quick
and see what we end up getting.
Now this has the scope and yeah,
basically everything except the quiver and bolts on it.
So let's see what we get, 9.7, 9.7 pounds.
Okay, so they updated the riser.
You got the twin riser technology.
There's an upgraded trigger.
It's really, really crisp.
They say it's, you know, their precision trigger tech.
It's good.
It's actually really, really nice.
So then it comes with the new center punch HPX carbon bolts
with the snap and knock.
There's a little like divot in the knock that it snaps on
so that it holds the bolt in a little bit better.
It's not gonna fall out.
You got the new safety.
So it's the ambidextrous safety.
That's pretty cool.
And zero track barrel and guide lock arrow rest system.
So that's what you're feeding it through on the front.
It's got the little toothbrush thing on the top
and then the two ball bearings that it sits on
like the rolls and glides on.
It comes with the Evo X Marksman Elite Scope.
So it's got the 20 to 100 in the scope.
All your 10 yard increments get you lined up there.
The new twin riser technology,
they say it's 41% lighter, two times stiffer
than the traditional risers,
reduced riser flex and limb torque.
Essentially what that boils down to
is it's gonna be more accurate.
It's just gonna be picking up more accuracy.
Trigger's got zero creep, three pound trigger, very crisp.
I mean, honestly, yeah, I like it.
I really like the Raven trigger.
This thing is really nice too.
So good precision trigger.
That's the TenPoint TRX 515.
It's a really nice crossbow.
I mean, really nice unit.
The crank system's nice.
It's silent.
The trigger upgrade, super nice, super crisp.
I mean, it breaks like glass.
Three pounds, real nice.
What more can I say?
I mean, this thing is, it's fast.
It's cranking.
So if you're looking for speed,
this is probably an option that you're gonna be looking at.
It's definitely a nice crossbow.
As far as accuracy,
I haven't tested out the accuracy here at 20 yards.
Obviously you could stack bolts on top of bolts
at 20 yards with this thing.
So I haven't been able to take it out any further than 20,
but I'm going to assume that this thing
is gonna be an absolute tack driver.
So incredibly accurate.
Yeah, so 9.7 pounds with the scope on it.
Overall, this thing's legit.
