Trooper's Report:

I was patrolling on Washington Street near the north end of the Highway 1 bypass in Forrest City when Troop D Dispatch advised
that the St. Francis County Sheriff’s Office was in pursuit of a red Dodge Ram pickup (AR: ATX81H) northbound on Washington
Street. I traveled south on Washington Street and intercepted the pursuit near McDaniel Ave. I became the primary unit in the pursuit
and observed that the suspect driver, later identified as (ANDRE T. HUNTER) was weaving in and out of traffic,
disobeying traffic control devices, and displaying a blatant disregard for his safety and the safety of the public.
When it was safe to do so I performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI). The suspect vehicle traveled off the roadway to the east,
rolled over, and became disabled in the ditch to the east of Washington Street. I along with several other officers from the St. Francis
County Sheriff’s Office and the Forrest City Police Department performed a high-risk felony takedown on the suspect vehicle.
Commands were given to Hunter to exit the vehicle and upon exiting, Hunter was observed drinking from a can of Busch beer. Hunter
was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Forrest City Medical Center due to complaints of shoulder pain.
