Hey buddy. They make you stand out front here all day long? That's not right.
I think Grand Teton National Park is probably the most visually stunning national park that
we have been to so far and in no particular order we're going to show you the 10 stops we
were able to get to in just two days. So sit back and enjoy Grand Teton National Park.
We traveled from north to south just finishing up at Yellowstone National Park when we headed
into Grand Teton and the first stop we made was the Coulter Bay area and there's a visitor center
there and one of the more popular trails that's quite easy is Lakeshore Trail and I would just
tell you that the views from the Lakeshore Trail are some of the very best that you will see
in all of Grand Teton National Park. Look at this view right off the trail.
You can see that the Lakeshore Trail is really pretty easy. There's not a lot of elevation gain.
I would consider it very family friendly and then when you're done you're going to want to
head around the corner about a mile or two away to Lakes Marina and this was one of the favorite
stops we made on the whole trip was just going to their pizzeria and having pizza right on the lake
looking out at the Tetons. Jackson Lake Lodge is a great stop. Hopefully you get the opportunity
to stay there but if not at least take in one of the beautiful sunsets right there from Jackson
Lake Lodge. Next up was sunrise at Schwab Archer Landing. This was the number one thing we were
looking forward to going on this trip and it did not disappoint. We even got to see a moose while
we were getting the cameras set up to capture the sunrise on time lapse. It was unbelievable and I'll
just tell you this is probably one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen. It is really
like you're in a screensaver. Absolutely stunning. When you're done with the beautiful sunrise there
at Schwab Archer Landing it is just a short drive over to Mormon Row and this is where you can
capture that iconic scene with the molten barn. Next up for us was to go and explore the Jenny
Lake area and you can see immediately why this is such a popular stop at Grand Teton National Park
and we definitely recommend taking the boat ferry over to the trailhead. You just got a an amazing
perspective to see the Tetons from the lake. After getting off the boat ferry right there on the other
side of Jenny Lake we hiked on up to Hidden Falls and this is the most impressive waterfall that we
saw at Grand Teton National Park. I would put this in my top five waterfalls I have seen ever at a
national park. After seeing Hidden Falls we would recommend that you get back on the trail and hike
all the way to Cascade Canyon. That's what we did and you'll take in some great views along the way.
You'll pass Inspiration Point which is a great stop if you need a rest but the hike all the way
to Cascade Canyon was the very best hike we did on the whole trip at Grand Teton National Park.
As you come around this last bend into Cascade Canyon this is the area that you'd want to pay
attention. You might get to see a moose down by the creek even though we didn't that day. This is
the area where most people tell us that they see them. Our next stop was the Snake River Overlook
and this is the famous stop that Ansel Adams the photographer took of the Snake River and it's a
famous black and white. They have it on display right there that you can check out and you can
kind of recapture it yourself as you're standing there and it's really cool. The trees have kind
of grown up around the river but you can almost duplicate the very moment that he captured at
Grand Teton National Park. Next up for us was Oxbow Bend and if you're into photography at all you
this is one of the more popular stops at Grand Teton National Park. I recommend trying to hit
it at a couple different moments in time. We enjoyed it in the afternoon but I did get to
go back and capture it at sunrise as well. No trip to Grand Teton National Park is complete
without spending a little bit of time down in Jackson Hole Wyoming and I recommend going up
to the Teton Pass because you get a beautiful view down into the valley there to see Jackson
but the shops are amazing. The restaurants are wonderful. There's a lot of activities that you
can do in and around Jackson. It's definitely worth spending a bit of an afternoon there
and taking it all in. We really enjoyed our time in Jackson as a part of our trip to Grand Teton
National Park. We actually flew home from Jackson Airport. If you've never taken off from Jackson
Airport the views of the Tetons from the plane are absolutely amazing. Well we hope our list
of stops encourages you and inspires you to go check out Grand Teton National Park. If we can
